Cool video Robert! Those Svea stoves never disappoint in sound and heat. Nice setup with it paired with the cook kit. Coffee looks fantastic my friend! Stay warm 👍🏻
Way to to go James ! And the gang at Bohemian Hunt Club !!!! Please take a video of the flea market trip !!!!! Good luck selling. I'm at the NW Coleman Meet today !
Thank you for sharing your coffee with us, Robert. Good luck at the flea market. Stay safe and stay warm/cool, depending on what side of the house you are on.
Yeah. Got to love the sound of the old Svea and Optimus stoves. I have a silent burner cap I can use if I want but I really like the sound sometimes. God bless.
Another good one, I've got the same setup and really like it. Can't beat the sound of the Svea 123 and that blue flame and red hot flame spreader. Kinda cheers you up to see knowing that good cup is coming. Drinking my morning brew while watching. Need to do a video. Hope you sell a lot. God Bless.
I picked up two different base kits a few years back. Didn't know how the heck they worked. For one, didn't have the right stove! I'll have to dig them out and take a few picks. See if you have any interest in them. I would hate to have to get the correct stove that goes with the set.🤔😉 I don't have the pot sets either.
Is it a SIGG? Or is it a ‘Taiwan Tourist?’ I have one of each and it seems they’re built just about the same. That berniedawg cap is good when you want that last little bit of simmer before it goes yellow. These kits tended to come with plastic straps that didn’t age well. The arno straps are a good replacement. The pot lifter is just a basic style one like the coghlans one. Those loops on the plate/lit are for the strap.
@@BluegrassBushcraft the SIGG ones are pretty obvious because they have the words ‘SIGG tourist’ written is 70point letters on the side of the plate/lid. My Taiwan one say’s ‘Taiwan’ in small letters on the strap loops. The lid/plate has nothing written on it.

Yeah they are really cool stoves. I wish they still made them like they used to.
God bless.
8am... no coffee yet. I need to get out of bed!
Thank you for posting this , I have a few parts to this kit and didn't know how it goes together, I'm for sure missing the pot and lid .
Love the SVEA , there she goes
Shall I send you an MSR pot grabber ? Do you have one???.

Not sure. I really didn't know there was a difference. What should I look for to know the difference?
