Another tip is that it doesn't matter where you hit the enemy with the ult, headshots bodyshots and legshots deal the exact same damage

its 22 and in 30 meters its 12 i think
The ult deals 22 damage per tick. No matter where it hits, the damage stays the same. It can also go through player and deals collateral damage but not through wall or objects.

First tip can be avoided by changing a setting to strongest weapon

As a Neon main, for the first one, you can go to your settings, go to controls, go to equipment, then equipment in equipment, you'll see a setting that says "auto equip prioritizes" change it from most recently equipped to strongest, it'll make it so even if you start to run with your knife out, when you end it, you'll auto switch to your strongest weapon

It’s a good tip but when you have to use a secondary when your gun has no ammo or you have to reload it’s really bad.

Btw, there is a setting that auto equips your strongest weapon after using an Ability or the Dash, so the first tip is avoidable.
It’s something called don’t auto equip melee or something, I don’t remember clearly
But if your gun has 0 ammo and you have to reload and you just dashed and you can’t equip the secondary, so sometimes it’s a disadvantage? I’m not sure but I’ve died more with it

It auto-equips your strongest avaialable weapon. Assuming it would do knife > empty gun
There’s a setting that makes you pull out your strongest weapon after using an ability but honestly it’s messed me up more then it’s helped

Another tip: Using the zap thing on the ult doesn't decrease the amount of duration faster so ZAP CONSTANTLY
Edit: I had only used neon in the range so I didn't know about the cooldown. Don't zap constantly. My bad

Yea thats correct but you still have an ammo counter and will run out of it and then you have a small delay until you can keep zapping so don't.

Another Tip: If you are planning to use your Ult in a round make sure to exhaust your Sprint, cuz when ur in Ult, it resets the bar.

for that first tip you can actually use "pull out strongest weapon" option so even when you run with your knife out you can slide and it pulls your best gun out instead of knife.

It's a bunch of clips stuck together and the last clip was just cut in half and the second half was pasted back to the beginning. Not really that much work xD
Does anyone know how long it takes or how many meter it will go until it drops down?
The stun fizzles out at 5 secs. Hitscan did a mythbusting video and said that the ability in total lasts 5 secs. Meaning if you can throw it high and it hits the ground after 3 secs the second bounce will fizzle out at 2 secs if it didn't hit any surface.

Another tip: You can dash / slide backwards by jumping and just before hitting the ground, press S and slide at the same time
You can do it without jumping its just alot harder and more unreliable
You can do it with left and right as well

Tip: theres a don't auto equip knife in the general options if i'm not wrong, so when you're casting utility, grabbing ult orbs, planting spike, and etc you will instead auto equip the gun instead of the knife so yeah i would recommend you turning that on
Yeah you can switch it to pick the strongest gun Or the other option is to pick the last weapon. Ig they're pretty self-explanatory.

the first one can be fixed in settings, in controls switch "last" to "strong"
Btw there’s a setting to have your most powerful gun out after sliding
There is an option in the settings of equipment where you can enable to equip the strongest weapon after any ability use
For example if you had your knife out and you used your breach ult the vandal (or primary weapon) is equipped

For that first tip there is a setting that allows you to pull out your “strongest gun” so if that is on after any ability usage it will pull out your vandal/phantom
Well now, if you start running after you had your knife out, it would be knife when you stop. Unless you change the sertting for weapon after ability to the strongest weapon so even if you have a knife out before you start running, it will switch to the strongest like the vandal
Another tip: don't pick up weapons while running, it will switch to secondary or knife when u slide

there's a gameplay setting to "always equip strongest weapon" which will pull out your best gun after slide no matter what you started running with

Neon is mistake, riot. Sprint ability? Ok, interesting mechanic and also have counter-plays. Run & gun ult? Okay, still counters (shoot body, slow down neon by hit, spray). But this bhop-like movements? You even can fully change move direction mid air wtf. Look at Grumpy. Like dude, we are in 2004? Is this CSS with his bhop or the heck is this?

As a neon main, 1. isn't exacly bad, but most people me including prefer the "Best Gun" setting, which automatically changes your gun to the rifle after using any ability or spike interactions
I swear, my iq for thinking where should a enemy be or anything else is negative 3, I never played too much fps but I Love it, my aim on the other hand is pretty good since I have played shooting games but that wasn't considered fps, like a battle royale, but still man, I get so nervous on "what should my elo be thinking right now?" Or "My boyfriend told me they could be there but, did I hear someone else?" And when I know it, I'm nervous and my aim is poopoo.
That's why I like playing characters that use they're util or aim for direct battle (But not Reyna, since i get nervous and you only can use her when she kills)
Im not the type of player that likes playing slow, although I see the importance of it and when someone tells me to, I won't disobey to make better wins and to gain trust.
I Love neon but man, when I watch people using her ult they are so consistent, while me, I always miss at least ONE zap when im running...

will the Neon stun stun on multiple layers? like in u stun Haven A site window, will people under Window in A site hell also be stunned?

First tip: If you start running while having your knife out you will have your knife out after the ability's end.
Me: *Having the switch to strongest weapon after ability usage setting on*
1st the clips lowlander showed for her ult are not that good always try to go parallel so you move as fast as possible to the enemy and we all know no grad touching aimlabs players start to freak out the moment the target is moving
(Also jumping is okay if you hide your headshot bar by looking away and doown from the enemy which throws of their spray and they don't even have a chance at spray at the lookation your going while shooting them
You can select never auto equip melee in the settings, so no more knife knife during round

There's a setting that makes it so when you slide you can pull out your strongest weapon automatically
There is actually a setting for changing your gun instead of your knife after running it should be in general so that’s what I usually do with neon so your welcome
btw in case if you had your knife before the dash you can press the button thats binded to your primary gun or secondary gun and after dashing you'll pull it out
For the knife thing, change settings to pull out the highest tier weapon
first tip can be avoided if you go in controls equipment scroll dont and there will be a rotated square, tick it and above that change the setting to strongest

I think you dont know the game mechanic. There is a option in the settings. You can change the priority to strongest weapon. Its the tip from ur neon main brother.

tipp from an ascendent 3 player bind in general most powerful gun or something along those lines it will be about half way down it was a long time ago when i did it it's precedent for neon and jett
There is a setting the makes one of these tips redundant. There is a setting that makes it so after you use a util it’ll make you pull out your most powerful weapon.
There is an easier way to pull your gun out in the settings there is an option to automatically pull out your strongest weapon so you don't have to worry
if you spam the 1 key you can actually get your gun back from sliding and almost at a 100% accuracy
You can also change setting and u can always have the most powerful weapon after any ability or anything
You can’t do her ult on fracture cable car, it will be the same accuracy like you jumping
there’s a setting to change where you can set it to pull out strongest. this video is old but some people still don’t know who doesn’t know this setting, i forgot where it is
With every agent you can make it so when you use an ability it automatically switches to your strongest weapon
Another tip, don’t main neon. She’s just not the best solo q agent you wanna be playing and isn’t strong on some of the maps
theres a setting in valorant where you can make it where if you unequip ur gun and use an ability or get an orb it auto equips ur gun after, if anyone wants to know what it is ask

Ive been testin out the neon slide and is this a bug or a feature because i notice everytime that when i slide and shot the gun first bullet is always accurate to the crosshair

there is a setting for first gun equiping after an ability so you never pull your knife on accident
the first tip can be change in ur settings just turn on dont equip knife like u cant equip knife after ur abil
The first tip is only a problem if you don't have switch to strongest weapon in settings
In the first one go to controls then to equipment then make sure that the strongest wepon is picked
Btw also a tip if u see the bar on neon if the bar has yellow you can slide but if it doesn't u can't slide
