Bro… simple as that. I cleaned them earlier today, reset the phone, disconnected the airpods. What ended up working was blowing through the speakers. Thank you very much. Mic in full effect.
Thanks. For the longest time I thought part of my speaker was broken until I realized if 1 speaker hole is working in 1 AirPod then 1 has to be clogged. I’ll come back tmr and let your know if this method worked, thanks again!
Your fix gave me - Volume to almost zero - weird high pitch sounds - tiny sound But it's all good (Don't give up everybody) - I kept on going and eventually, everything works again, everything is fixed Note to others: - I'm pretty sure what messed with mine is high amounts of moisture got inside the headphones, but it may have also helped clean it... Idk. - Blowing hard in is what caused the moisture to get in, but it might of also been what helped clean it - Regardless I am positive that sucking hard is what got mine working again. I would suck on one spot and put the other spot high up. switching from one spot to another. - I had two sucking technics. One was a completely full suction that I would pulse quickly from full to partial. The other was an almost complete suction where fast air could be quickly passed over to dry it out. - I was really working my lungs hard on this one for both blowing into the headphones and sucking out of the headphones. Cheers
Yooo thank you blowing in them super hard is the only thing that ACTUALLY WORKED other methods I've seen were to adjust my audio balance and make it to where the quieter one is louder but that just makes them both quiet but this worked
Long time no see, Matt! Thank you so much for such awesome tips, my friend! 👍 By the way, when I started cleaning my ears every day, I noticed that the headphones can now be cleaned much less often 🎧 😉👍
Good to see you too! Thank you so much for coming by to watch. That's a great tip to keep your ears clean, because that is the source of the problem with the clogging.
@@HandyHudsonite Does it matter the concentration of alcohol? As I am assuming, the higher concentration of alcohol, the quicker it will evaporate = less likelihood of damage?
How can I fix the earphones of my 5s model. By mistake I put them in a cup of tea which had very little tea at the bottom, but seems like tea did go through the front grill, and since then it has affected the audio in both speakers. I did try various things, air blowing, cleaning, but seems like the right speaker was more affected than the left one, and the audio has become very low. Audio in the left one is back to 90 %. Can I use any other liquid instead of rubbing alcohol.
Sorry to hear that happened. That's common. What you need to do now is get that wax out. My latest video shows how to do that. It's a pretty weird technique, but it works. I've unclogged the most stubborn earwax in my AirPods doing it this way: th-cam.com/video/fZSLOwesXV0/w-d-xo.html

I have AirPods Pro and this was just as helpful. I found that a fine paint brush worked just as well.
Using Google Pixel buds, and this worked for me. Appreciate you
😐
Fantastic thank you ! I was about to return my AirPod pros for the 5th time. Not now.
Thanks man! I was actually scared because I didn’t put warranty on my AirPods but this video really helped! Thanks!!!

Are you actually removing gunk, or just making it wet & cloggy?

Do we need it to dry first after we clean with alcohol
Yes, you want to wait for the alcohol to evaporate.

I need help since I have to move my left one a little bit so I can hear proper without just putting it in my ear

My microphone on the right still doesn’t work.
i cleaned mine with a q-tip with a little bit of water and it ended up pushing the earwax more into the airpod and messed up the sound quality :(
