This is why I liked rs3 fight kiln that's where the three cape idea came from and it was based on how much you used each style throughout the caves not what you killed the boss with I feel like they could have still done something simmilar with inferno

Just wanna point out a slight correction, going by the list you showed of streamers who tested the Inferno, DedWilson wasn’t the one who completed the least amount of waves during that test. The list shows that DedWilson made it to wave 33 while Rigondeaux only made it to wave 31.

It always feels weird seeing updates that never were. Like that blender boss is a nightmare.
As a player of osrs since the very beginning and someone who has followed the game very closely since then.. it's weird to think that i'm getting NOSTALGIC over some of osrs' history lmao, it's just.. Ironic because When the game first came out I was playing purely for the sake of that nostalgic feeling from 2006. It's insane how far this game has actually come since its release and how the playerbase evolved over the years, i'm happy to be a part of it and even if i'm taking a break, i'll always come back to it
This is how the fight kiln is in rs3 sorta, you sacrifice a fire cape to go and you get a mage Melle or ranged cape depending on what style you use or an onyx for further completion so you needed to do at least do it three times
Woox was destined to be the first. It was just a matter of how quick he would get it. Taking into account the difficulty of Zuk it is amazing (but not surprising) that he managed to do it so quickly! Absolute God!

The streamer V was first to get to healers
Seeing people racing to complete the inferno is what ultimately sparked my interest in the game. Finally gave into my friend and created an account here am all these years later.

I'm just surprised or amazed you didn't mention any similarity or even inspiration from the Fight Kiln in rs2-3 it's just like that since it was also released like 5 years before the inferno

sounds like the initial fight caves expansion is similar to rs3's version
They probs wanted to copy more stuff from RS3. Like how the fight kiln also introduced a new race called the Tokhaar.
I think Fight Kiln wouldn't work on os, but we never know

I believe RS3 is getting an inferno level fight caves/kiln next month.
GWD3 or "Elder God Wars Dungeon" has 1 more boss yet to be revealed and the god for the boss is Ful. Which is the god who made the elder kiln. It'd be insane not to be a new wave based challenge

Most pets will take days/weeks/months.

Yeah getting 3 zuk kc would take a few hours IF YOU ALREADY KNEW HOW TO DO IT
Learning Inferno can take weeks and sometimes months for some people especially if you don't have good gear or a maxed account.
It's not about what's possible in 100 hours, getting 3 zuk kc or ALL the pets, but sometimes it's about making content that everyone will enjoy.
I can guarantee you MOST people with Infernal capes DONT and WOULD NEVER want to do it twice if they had the choice, whereas boss pets are at least content that can be enjoyed by the community.
@@greenbean4422 far fewer people are going to enjoy grinding a boss for 100-5000kc for a cosmetic than will enjoy doing one challenging boss a few times for guaranteed BIS items.
Killing Zuk the first time is hard.
Killing Zuk the second time is a lot easier.
You have to learn Zuk whether you kill him once, or three times, unless you cheese for that one kill, which is going to be highly RNG reliant and honestly a much worse experience.

@@Phhase yeah, unless you are severely lacking in multiple nutriments and lose hair because of your dorito only diet, the products do nothing.

I started at 18 (22 rn) and yeah minoxidil doesn't stop hair loss. You need to take finasteride to stop it and minoxidil will only really help after that to regrow some lost hairs. İf you've lost a noticeable amount of hair I would say the best course of action would be 1mg finasteride everyday for 6-12 months then you get a hair transplant and reduce your finasteride dosage to every other day instead of everyday.
@@ahmet6144 Finasteride is no miracle potion either, stop taking it at any point in life and you’ll experience rapid degradation of follicles.

its a good thing the ranged and mage capes weren't added to inferno because then it would just be elder kiln recycled from rs3. pay fire cape 3 times to earn then best in slot capes for each combat style.
You only need to pay once for access to the Kiln.

Yeah, as an RS3 player we only get two Jads on the second to last wave of Kiln (and Kiln has a 15s invincibility consumable, meaning you can save it to burst one down and kill the other after…and obsidian armor from Fight Cauldron if you’re still having issues)
there was a private server i played on for a while and their inferno removes all the waves before jad, the difference is, its not 3 jads on the 2nd last wave... you had to fight 6 jads (with healers active from the start) at the same time and then the zuc phase was double spawn rate, and the pillar moved faster so you had to keep pace a lot more... i think only 3-4 or so people of 800~ active players had earned it in the 8-9 months it had existed before i quit, and to this day i havent seen a harder piece of content from runescape/servers

I had done fight caves on RS3 but doing it on OSRS was a completely different beast. RS3 it's honestly pretty easy. Sure you have to manage resources to some degree but EOC makes older content just far too easy.
OSRS it was an actual challenge. I did 3 fake test runs to kinda get a feel for it and practiced my single tick prayer flicking during that before I went for my first real attempt. I made it to Jad, then died. I got it my 2nd go around but still. Sure I was using melee. Still need to challenge myself a bit and that's a great way to do it.
It's much harder on OSRS then it is RS3. Hell even over half the players on Leagues abusing the Mage relic aren't able to get it done until they hit T7 or T8. It's very true though. Your first run through the caves is by FAR one of the hardest things you'll do in Runescape. But after that it just seems way too easy. You know how to predict waves or at least go onto the wiki that handholds that for you. You know where to go, how to strategize, etc; much of the challenge in caves comes with the fact you dont really experience anything like it before the fact. Not the fact its absurdly difficult in of itself.

I wish this video could be sent to every popular content creator today who condemns and disregards the polling system that OSRS has for its life abided by. THIS is why community consultation and feedback and devs LISTENING to their player base, and not just the popular few, has seen our game flourish into what it is. If you could send this to the likes of 9rain and J1mmy I'd appreciate it. It's not perfect, but damn it has made this game what it is and I'm so glad that Jagex has honoured this since day one. Is it easy? F**k no, is anything easy worth doing? I think the subject of this video answers that question quite well. Cheers Colo I know this is a fairly old vid but keep doing what you do dude.
Agreed. I was RS3 mostly until recently but always watched OSRS and how its devs interacted with the community. There are VERY few times the devs acted of their own accord and almost every time you can very clearly see why. NMZ being a huge example. The playerbase, despite outraged over DMZ, also refused to allow it to be changed and it put Jagex into a weird spot in how to deal with it. They did what they could the best they could without really stepping on anyones toes. Even if they kind of minced words or called stuff a "glitch" to change it. It's just hard to look at it and say "Jagex was in the wrong" in almost any of those situations.
