I found your channel in late 2020, that was the time where im really getting obsessed with SVT as a quarantine Carat, and when i binged watch all your SVT videos after I just finished Hit The Road and how you talked about how special they are for you and you even made a little appearance on Hit The Road with your friends OMGGGG you made me fall deeper in love with them. Hearing them from your perspective and how these boys helped me a lot during the worst year of my life yet (which is 2020) i couldn't convinced my self more that i finally find a home on Kpop eventho ive been a Kpop fan since 2007. I started Kpop in 2021! And I only got into SVT like 5 months ago and I feel so awful snobbing them before. Now Seventeen is my bias group! I just love everything about them. Their passion, talent and personality. The visual is actually just a bonus for me.

I'm just so happy and proud of them. They've come a very long way. They've worked so hard and they deserve the success and recognition they're having today. I love watching your reactions to them. When I started getting into Kpop in 2018-- BTS to be specific-- like a lot of other new fans, I listened exclusively to BTS for a long while and couldn't leave the bubble for anything, no matter how hard I tried. lol. BUT SVT was one of very few other groups who were able to break through. At the time, all I could focus on was BTS, so I didn't know anything about SVT except for the 3 songs that I really liked: Change Up, Trauma and Don't Wanna Cry. I kept them at the back of my mind for when I could break out of the bubble and start exploring other groups. Though I didn't know much about them, I knew their music was something different and I continued listening to those three songs for nearly a year with no idea just how much more talent was in this group. HIT in 2019 was the comeback that made me finally jump in and learn about the group. I've been an official CARAT since.
Prior to Kpop, I was actually very much anti-Kpop...lol. I was around 10 or so when I heard a random Kpop song, don't remember which one or the artist but I did not like it one bit. It was someone around BoA's era...maybe it was BoA herself?? Idk. lol. So, of course, I deemed all Kpop to be crappy and stayed away for a long time. I even remember the year before I got into Kpop, I watched a lot of FBE react channel and they had a few episodes reacting to Kpop-- I specifically remember an episode where they reacted to BTS, GOT7 and SVT and I just watched, not understanding the hype. But now, SVT are one of my 7 ult groups, and I'll be seeing them in August in Chicago. I'm a clown. lol.

Can I say that kpop made it big into the western and european market because of BTS. I don't mean to say the older groups didn't make it to the global market, coz they did...but they mainly only made it huge in the asian market and not many fans actually know about kpop in the western countries until BTS became so famous. Newer fans start checking on kpop musics and they in general will start off from the 4th generation kpop groups. They mostly don't pay attention or spend time to check on the older groups, they don't know what they have missed. A lot of SVT stans are those who already got into kpop long way before kpop made it globally. They don't know that the 2nd and 3rd generations of kpop groups are so freakin good.

What you said at 16:15 that they said that their songs never hit, is so true. I recently watched a reactor, that is a huge army (witch is so cool too, I like bts). And he was reacting live and so you are able to chat and read other people's comments. And while he was listening to face the sun album so many of them said, that their songs are not special, that they don't hit and are lame. And honestly, and honestly it made me so sad because especially THIS ALBUM is a no skip for me. Its a masterpiece. And it's okey if you don't like a song, but calling it lame, not hitting or not special its rude. Seventeen worked so hard for those songs...
That makes me so freakin sad. I always have to check myself and realize that people have different music taste and it’s fine to not click with the music, but disregarding the talent and passion is where I get upset! ):
