Cool to make the connection that 7Song is connected to Mountain Rose Herbs. I met 7Song in CO in 2022, and knowing him makes me eager to support mountain rose herbs even more!
Very useful thank you, however I could not see anything because of the motion and blurring of the footage, so hopefully once you learn to use a video camera you could re shoot this as it is really helpful. I just switched my screen off and listened because the picture may as well have been of a green concrete mixer for all I could see.
Awesome....my horses have a couple of Willow in their paddocks and LOVE to eat it :) I buy natural herbal remedies for them and Willow is almost always an ingredient :)
So many species of willow, do they all hold the same properties as eachother? This has been my biggest head scratcher as I read through books. Also, the website seems to be gone?
Quid est Veritas Thank you for sharing your question! Weeping Willow or Salix babylonica can be used for its medicinal properties. We wish you the best ~Kori
Hi there! While we do know that both White Willow and Curly Willow have salicylic acid in their barks, we are not aware if they can be used similarly or how much salicylic acid is in the curly willow. I would suggest reaching out to your local Extension Office for your county to see if they have any more info on willow types and medicinal uses for them!
Susan Schrader Hi Susan~Thank you for checking in with us here on TH-cam. It is best to initially harvest the bark from a live tree. We appreciate your interest. Cheers! ~Kori

Are there any Salix species you would NOT want to use for its salicylate properties?
This is so awesome! 7Song is amazing... What is the best wat to use willow? In a tea, fresh, dried, in a t tincture?
