Hello, I hear a few of whistling or singing birds' calls. But not able to identify which bird it is. I checked with many people by recording the audio of the bird call, but no one could tell me the exact bird. Is there a way I can send you the bird recording and you can tell me which bird it is please. Thanks, Mayuri
I live in PE. I checked almost all ur vdos fir that particular bird call. But it's not there. I hear this particular bird call everyday in backyard. But can't see that bird.
They can be very confusing because they sound a bit different in each area that you go to and they have a wide variety of calls and sounds that they make.
Thank you so much for this!! We all heard the "car starting " call... and finally we can identify it! Southern bou bou
Thanks, it is a call that took me a while to learn when I first started birding.
Very shy beautiful bird. We are fortunate to see it regularly, especially in the early morning.
We have a pair in the garden since beginning of this year. At first very shy but as time went by they have become bolder. Krugersdorp
Although I've seen and heard this many places, my strongest association is with Dwesa. And that is the most pleasant memories.
They are quite vocal over many parts of the EC.
Beautiful bird.
They are very beautiful.
Very good. Well presented. I have also published a video of the Southern Boubou's call. John, Cape Town South Africa.
awesome
That zingzinging.. reminds me a bit of black cuckoo's wind up... do they maybe learn their own version from hosting them?
No, that call is not learnt from the Black Cuckoo call. It's unique to the boubou.
