My mum was a guest of the show in 1990, topic being about death and experiences of death. She sadly died the following year through cancer. Would love to watch the episode again.
Now this was a proper topical debate show with real issues eg health, education, law, debt and retirement. Mike Scott and John Stapleton were different in their own way anyone remembered when Henry Kelly took charge. The beauty of TTTP was it would promote itself on the road in different cities across Britain and feature the right age groups relating to the issues now have to put up with Jeremy Kyle nonsense

Where did you get footage of this program? I’m looking for an episode in 1987 about the hurricane of 1987 my mum and dad were on it talking about me getting trapped in a house and have never seen the footage, I did try contacting the broadcast agency before but not had any replies, be amazing to find it x
I'm not sure whom you mean at 6:19 as there doesn't appear to be a priest at that point. If you mean the priest with the beard and the glasses who defended celibacy then he is now happily married. Jan and I are happily married for 33 years with two grown up daughters who now have children of their own.
one thing I could never be is celibate, I'd have to cut my tally whacker and both hands off! Also, my feet because I would have used them in the end, like the My Left Foot bloke years ago..!

Did you ever watch Kilroy over on the BBC? Or Central Weekend (if you live in the Midlands) on itv on Friday nights?

I am not sure at all. I recorded it at the time. Have you tried contacting the family of John Stapleton? He may have kept copies of his works?
