In my opinion, the biggest thing holding VR back was the lack of high quality content available. So I decided to invest enough money to buy a new car to hopefully be able to make good content people will enjoy. I really want to help make a difference in the world and eliminate the barriers of money/time that prevent people from seeing more of this beautiful earth. It still blows my mind to this day just how realistic and immersive a VR180 video can look when viewed at 8k in a Quest 2 headset. If you think it looked good on TH-cam at 4k 3D, you would be floored at how good it looks in 8k 3D. Consider checking out the 8k downloads of all my episodes on the patreon if you would like higher resolution and clarity. (8k has 34 million pixels, 4k has only 8.3 million pixels on TH-cam VR) . Hi! Just wandering, is the direct download video on your patreon is 60fps? And what player do I need to play this? MoonVR? SkyboxVR? Or just using normal Quest 2 Video Player is enough? Thankss!!
Yup, it is 8k 3D resolution at 60fps with the direct download :) It can be played with the Quest 2 video player “Meta TV” app after downloading the video to a laptop/Pc then transferring the video to the headset. Skybox Vr app can also be used to watch it.
