Thank you for making this vlog! I’m from Zhangzhou, which is a smaller town that not many people know about. It's been hard to find resources in English to introduce my hometown to my non-Chinese-speaking friends, so I really appreciate having something I can use to show them where I'm from.
Oh my goodness. The scenery is beautiful and so interesting. Of course the food is a highlight too. So many new discoveries. Please keep sharing your travels. It was great that your Mom and Dad were travelling with you.
Sounds very much native to me, including all the little nuances that take time to acquire. To be able to seamlessly switch between 3 languages is really impressive to me ! Love all the background / context / info that you add to your videos : )@@CynnyGoesToChina
"Ginger Mother":The old ginger seeds are not harvested until the next year, and the ginger seeds dug out together with the young ginger are called "ginger mother".
It was about RMB 220 from our hotel to the Tulou area. But, I wouldn't recommend Didi for this, as they aren't allowed to go into the tourist site. Best to ask your hotel and book a car that can take you around!
It would be wonderful if Cynthia can provide the addresses or names of those eateries praised by you guys for the benefit of us, Chinese diaspora when we " 返唐山 " . 😂😂

不超过300元人民币,less than 3 hundreds RMB
Hi, yes! It's HKD 312 each way :)
Nice to have some subtitles in Chinese & English 👍🏼, if you continue to eat like this you will soon look like your Dad😂😂
Let me try for the next video! Haha - I really hope not!
Lovely video film ! Curious - how did you learn Mandarin so well ?
Thank you! I started learning when I was young, but I don’t practice it much in Hong Kong, so it’s still a bit rusty!

@CynnyGoesToChina thanks 🙏
I heard you guys speaking Canto and Mando. Your father is from Fujian. I'm guessing you guys are related to the other Fujian family on Bedford Ave.

Let me add them to the Description!
