Thank you. I have been on hold with Norditrack for more than 20 minutes and in that time you were able to instruct me how to fold up my elliptical. You are great. Thanks.
Wow! Excellent video. Exactly what I needed. I am planning to buy this and initially thought of paying for the professional installation, but now I believe I can install it on my own after watching your video. It's of great help and thanks a lot for providing the measurements too. That was perfect! Can't thank you enough!
You’re very welcome. Glad to know my video helped that much. I appreciate the feedback and support. I believe you can do it yourself too. Let me know how it turns out. Enjoy your Labor Day.
Very thorough review! The set up info was exactly what I was needing to see. By being able to remove the stabilizer bars (and maybe switching back to bars that shipped with it), the unit can go through a doorway into another room.
Just bought the SE7i and set it up fine.Loud thumping when i tried it out from the flywheel. Thumping went away but kind of a loud shrill noise comes out of the flywheel during exercise. Is that normal? One more thing, after I turned it on and tried the console , I started exercising and numbers stay at zero. What am I doing wrong? Don’t have the iFit console , just the standard one that comes with it. And yes it’s registered ! Any help will do, thanks!
I had the same issue - the plastic around the flywheel and the base seems to make a clicking noise where the plastic tabs connect the two sides around the metal frame - anyone else have this issue and noise???
Julie Glad the video was helpful to you. I think a strong or fit 5’ 2” woman can do it but it is a heavy machine. If you have two people available I would recommend using a second person for additional safety. Let me know if you do it and how hard it was or if it was easier than you thought. Thanks again for watching. Stay tuned for more helpful videos.
I’m trying to see if it will fit in an odd nook in my room. The online dimensions say 80” long, but when in use, do the bars up top or on bottom extend past that 80”? It looks like they might .... any insight would be much appreciated
The dimensions I showed in the video is 6’ 7” tall, 32” wide at the base, and 30” deep. I don’t believe the bars extend past the 80” because they point downward when being stored. I hope that helps?
Omg same! I'm so scared it won't fit through a weird turn and narrow 28 inch bedroom door. Nordic track gave me the shipping box dimensions as 78.5 L, 32 H and 18 W. For me, it will fit but once I put the stability bars on, I'll have trouble getting it out. So I think I'm going to save the shipping stability bars to put them back on to move it out.
Very helpful. My door is only 29 inches wide...so with the 32 inch width that you measured at the base when you stood it up...I assume I couldn't wheel through the door?
@@Scandal3200 Hi Petros. I did buy this elliptical and have just recently set it up. And do like it. I did hire someone to set up and he was experienced and it took over an hour to do that but was definitely worth the money since it comes in lots of small parts. I selected the machine because it has more range of motion for leg movements.. But it will feel different (maybe less solid) than the Precor machines in the gyms which have less movement options. I like the extra work required for balance and movement. Creates a good workout. But the person setting this up said some folks really don't like this and are disappointed. I also like that it doesn't take up quite as much space as machines with front motors.
Judith, I have same issue, nordictrack gave me the shipping box measurements, its 78.5 L × 32 H × 18 W. I have the same size door as you, but it's only 18 so you can slide it in standing up or at an angle.
@@dianev1021 I have set up the machine and the width is 28inches. It would be very tight to fit through the 29 inch door without taking apart. But it would fit through if still in the box.
Can you show how to fix the annoying squeaking coming from the wheel in the back? It is covered and was already put together that way so no idea how to take it apart.
JEC There should be some good techs for you out there. Just do a Google search or search for a tech on Thumbtack or Taskrabbit. Read the reviews & ratings on the techs and pick the best one. Also look to see if they have photos of their part work to help determine who you would pick. I hope that helps.
I was only able to test it out after I assembled it. I haven’t heard any complaints from the client though. It’s a very capable and durable machine though, that was my first impression anyway.
I’ve had that request made a few times...no one has offered to pay travel expenses though 🙂. Did you purchase one already or are you looking into getting one?
I'm on my second tread mill, my Nordic track 5700 just died, Tried to get support,. was unable to talk to anyone except a sale person to sell me another one. Just bought another tread mill from a different company. Nordic Track just lost my business and $2500.00.
Thank you for demonstrating how to fold it. Most videos only cover assembly and/or reviews. Much appreciated 😊

Just found one of these like new at Goodwill for $99.00 My lucky day! This video helped me set it up at home. Thanks
My sister gave me her E7.7. I lifted the handles but couldn't get them to fold down again. This showed me the trick, thank you.

So couple questions, where does the power cord go ?? Also, if you lost the power cord to your se7i version where could I get another one ???
This was very helpful. Thanks so much for bringing this video to us!

I just got mine delivered today and when I got on, seems to rock a bit..is that normal..?

Judith Cohen That sounds correct. It would have to be maneuvered quite a bit with two people to get it through somehow.

I’m sorry. Without taking it apart I’m not sure how to fix that.
Nice job, Guys! Keep on making great videos. :)
Does Nordictrack have folks they refer throughout the country...who can set up equipment like you've done?

Hello, do you know how to adjust the Reed Switch?
Hello. No, I’m sorry. I’m not sure how to adjust that. It’s been a while since I assembled this one. I hope you and yours are well.
Hi! Just bought mine. I find the arms move a lot at high intensity. Do you find the same?
I can’t say since I assembled this for a client. I have not heard any complaints from the client though.
Hi I live in a 3rd floor apartment
Do you think I can have this without bothering my neighbors under me
Did you find that whilst moving in the machine it was abit wobbly? I’ve set it up today but for a heavier weight, wouldn’t the machine move abit?
Yes. A little movement is fine.
I'm looking for something I can use in my semi truck , this looks a bit to long .
I agree.
