3. 1 inc, 3sc, 3 sc on the other side of the skipped chains, 2sc, 3 inc, 8sc, 2 inc
4. 14 sc, slip stitch into the next stitch
5. chain 1, sc around (27x), slip stitch into 28th (start of prev round) (?)
6-10: repeat 5
now, the case should match with the airpod hinge
11. 28 slip stitch
cut string and tie in end

Omg I did slip stitch 28 times on row 5. Only when my crochet messed up and I rewatched it did I found out that the instruction in the video is inaccurate. This comment confirmed it. Thank you!
