Very helpful. Thanks! There is an important rule that was not mentioned explicitly: You cannot pass your own marbles, unless with a king card (which eats up everything in its way 😆). In the safety zone, you have to fill in the gaps to allow your other marbles to enter.
Hello! Yes, you can play Jackaroo with players not passing their marbles on the track. You can choose to play with or without this rule. Also, you can't skip pass a marble that is placed in the safety zone, meaning the first marble to enter must be placed on top to allow all marbles to enter. Thanks Hassan!
Hello! If your opponent has his marble in their "Base Hole" or "Home Base" you can't move his marble with a 5 card. You can do so if his marble is anywhere else on the track. Thanks!
Hello! If a marble enters the Safety Zone it cannot be removed. You can only adjust its position on the Safety Zone holes. If you have a 4 and nothing else to play, you would discard it. Thank you for asking!
Thanks for your well explanation. My question is what is the distribution rules for the cards for each player? Do each player receive 4 cards or 5 cards and does the number change each round. Thanks
Hello! Good question. When a dealer collects the cards to start dealing, they would deal for 3 rounds. 2 of these rounds are 4 cards distribution, and 1 of them is 5 cards distribution. Typically, the 5 card distribution is the final round of the 3.
Hello! To play Jackaroo with 6 players it must be played on a special 6 player Jackaroo board. It would be 2 more extra players, meaning 1 more team is added to the game. Other than that, the rules are similar to the 4 player game. Keep an eye out for the release of our 6 player Jackaroo board soon!
Hello! If you discard all your cards you have to wait until all players finish playing their cards during the round. You'll receive new cards when a new set of cards are dealt for all players on the next round!
If you have no cards to play on your turn (e.g. because someone played a red queen and made you discard one), I guess you just pass? Also: can you play with fewer than 4 players?
Hello! If someone discards you a card this means that your turn is passed. Now, if it's your turn and you don't have any card to play then you can discard your cards one by one at each turn. If you find there is no possibility to play you may discard them all at once.
If three of my marbles are in the home base but the last remaining one is 1-6 tiles away and I only have a 7 card, would it be legal to split the 7 card on that one ball to reach the home base and win the game or do I have to use the whole 7 to play the card?
Hi! When playing a 7 card, you must make a total of 7 moves. One way to play it is to use the 7 card to move your last marble into the home base, and then use the remaining moves to advance one of your partner's marbles, since you start using your partner's marbles after all your own marbles are in the home base.
If someone moves you forward 5 places, to one position just before the base position, do you have to go round the board again or do you wait for a minus 4?
If I played a 4 after putting a marble and on base, then I only have a large number card in my hand, do I have to play it (and go back to the start of the loop) or can I just discard it?
if the opponent place its marble on my base does is consider safe for it? and can not be passed ?? also if i have one marbel behind mine in the base hole can they make me move 5 step forward and skip my marble on the base hole?
Hello! If an opponent places a marble on your base hole, it wouldn't be a good idea. When you place a new marble with an Ace or King you would remove their marble back their outside zone.
If i have a king card and i have 1 marble in my base and another one on the beginning point. Can I get out the one from my base on top of the other one or where should I place it?
Hello! You can't place a marble on the track when you have a marble placed on the beginning point (Base Hole). You have to move the marble and for the space to be empty in order to place a new marble on the track.
@@ahmed4kp You can place a new marble even if their is another player's marble on your base hole! If another player's marble was on your base hole when you played a card that places a new marble down like a King or Ace, then the player's marble would be eaten and removed and returned to the player's outside zone, and you would place your new marble down on the track!
So do we take a new card each round or are we forced to wait till all our cards finish? And if we have no action cards during the game and we discard one card each round do we take a card also or just wait till we discarded all our cards to get new ones ?
Hi! Good question. The only time you get new cards is when the dealer deals at the start of each round. So, you have to wait until your cards are finished in order to get new cards. For discarding cards, if you don't have any playing card on your turn you discard only one card each turn incase you are able to play in later turns. If you find that you don't have any card to play in the entire round you can discard all your cards at once rather than discarding one at a time.
Hi! Discarding a card means that you are throwing the card away. The card would be placed in the middle in the fire pit. For example, you can discard all your cards if you don't have any playable card on hand.
So according to your rules, only ace and king cards are allowed to take out the marbles, though there is 16 marbles and 8 ace and kings.. is that part of the game or no?
Hello! Good question. After a dealer is finished dealing the entire desk, the cards are reshuffled and the next dealer would deal the entire desk once again. This means the Ace and King cards would constantly be dealt throughout the game with new dealers.
@@Honourablly A dealer deals the entire card deck in 3 rounds, giving each player 4 cards for 2 rounds and 5 cards 1 round. Then a new dealer collects the cards and shuffles them then they deal the cards the same again.
Sure! 10 card can be played to move your marble 10 steps or force the next player to discard a card from his choice. The red queen card can be played to move your marble 12 steps or force the next player to discard a card that you choose without seeing the players cards.
Hello! You can choose whether or not to play with this rule. If you do, here is the ruling for it; Two marbles placed next to each other create a stop of passage that blocks marbles from passing by. To break through this barrier, a marble must land on the first or second marble on the track, which will then be removed back to the base hole. Alternatively, a King card can be used, allowing the player to displace both marbles in the barrier as they move. Hope this helps you!

Can I use a Jack to move 2 marbles that aren’t yours? (meaning two different players marbles) or do I have to move one of mine
Hi! Jack card exchanges one of your marbles with another player's marbles during the game. This cannot be done on marbles that are not yours. Thanks.
