I didn’t realize this was a hidden thing 0.0 I do this all the time. I only looked it up because I saw someone asking how to do a swan dive in rise and I thought they meant like the classic swan dive but I guess not.
@bosycat4983 Good question, bud.... I've got no idea as I don't know what buttons correspond to what actions, but you should be able to do it if you know which buttons are meant to be used and then just attempt it with the method I mention in the vid.
The actual way to do it is the job hold forward, then press L2 or left trigger. If you’re on Xbox you don’t have to do them both at the same time you can just hold for it and tap it.

Yeah, sorry... I don't have a PS5 so I couldn't tell you if it works or not... If I get one though I'll be sure to reply back again and let you know how my experiments turn out and what you need to do to complete the dive.

You’re the first person to actually say how to perform the dive
you have to start the form before you jump, a nose plug may help. it helps if you know what temperature the water you're going to land in will be.

Idk if this was an update, but it is in game in the pause menu, under the Survival Guide, then under Traversal.
A #SwanDive is where you put your arms out like wings, old school. Lara doesn't do a swan dive in RotTR.

I'm on PC and I'm having trouble with this. So I press jump, then forward (W) and immediately after E and I get the rope she wants to hang on a tree.
Lol... yeah, no clue how to do on pc
On the Xbox: hold forward (do not release), at the platform edge push the A button to jump (do not release), then press LT

first of all how do you get there in my case there are big spikes blocking the way under the rocks. How to get to that location
Ah yes, you have to progress farther in the story... Once you unlock the peak you should be able to reach all the spots.
