It is not calling their family losers. This song is a commentary on modern life sucking the souls out of people. It is a call to action to wake up and enjoy your lives. This band is fun but also Carrie’s deep messages.
The song is more about Japanese society and expectations. Look at the lyrics about the city and life being boring. They sing there’s more to life than just a job. There songs are catchy but deep. First international hit song was Nai Nai Nai is upbeat but about the confusion and anxiety of high school. BTW, they have been together since 2015 and do their own choreo.
I love the message of this song, first they pointed out how miserable each person’s life was and emphasized how bad it would be if they just let it stay that way. Then, they showed each person deciding life is too short too just stay locked into a cycle and emphasized how significant it is to march forward and try new things.
I live in the southern part of North America so I’d have to travel at least ten hours to see a foreign band sadly. Really want to see this band and BABYMETAL in concert at least once in my life!
They are definitely loosers - All loosing their precious time on earth for an outdated idea [that longer working hours lead to more productivity and working is synonymous with being a useful citizen. I think you Americans can probably relate...you have a very weird working ethic as well, at least for European standards ^^'] . This song obviously takes some inspiration from The Clash - London Calling. For a next reaction I would recommend the single-take performance for Night Before the Exam. The choreography is nuts and the song has more of their Jazz influence which got a bit lost in more recent releases.

i think its also trying to say that they make music to make those people happy.. Its like the anime version of Johnny Cash being for the people lol
