I just know bradford city are in this. We may not be a premier league team, but in recent years weve reached a major cup final, beating several premier league teams on our journey. I find teams quickly dropping several divisions interesting. For example, Yeovil Town were in the Championship in 2014. They're currently in their 2nd consecutive season in the National League just 6 years later.
My dad predicted that would happen when they went up from league 1. They were effectively a national league side playing 3 divisions higher than they were ready for. Surviving that year in the championship without financial ruin would have been nothing short of a miracle
They had to do well first - Since the Premier League era began "Northern Clubs" have been the BULK of Premier League teams {especially if you include the Midlands in the North but even without the Midlands and Norwich City Northern Clubs probably still account for way more than 50% of all the teams that have been in the Premier League! - Swindon and Wimbledon are of course Southern Clubs but you could also include Ipswich, Charlton and Portsmouth as Southern Clubs who've dropped out of the Premier League and are currently slumming it in League 2. Then there's clubs like Luton Town {91-92}, Millwall {89-90} and Oxford United {87-88} who were all in the Top Flight in the years immediately preceeding the Premier League era + of course Notts County who like Luton dropped out of the top flight in 1992. Watford were in the third tier as recently as 1997-98 though they've spent the last 22 years yo-yoing between the Prem and Division 1/The Championship. Bournemouth were in League Two {the fourth tier} as recently as 2009-10 before their ascension through the divisions into the Prem {though they're now back in the Championship of course}. Brighton topped League One in 2010-11, Southampton finished 2nd to them that season! Here are the 7 worst teams formerly competing in I league, later called Ekstraklasa (generally the top level of the Polish system) counting from the season 1990/91. I understand of course the differences in Polish and English sports, political and economic history but there you go - have fun. If I've made any mistake, feel free to challenge. 1. Olimpia Poznań (in 1st L. till 1993) - the club exists but no longer has a football section. 2. Amica Wronki (in 1st L. from 1995 till 2006), three-times winner of Polish cup. - exists but does not have a senior team in any league. 3. On another note, I remember being at Valley Parade when we played Wimbledon in 02/03 (I think). The boycott by Wimbledon fans was in full effect, and there were literally only 5 fans in the away end. They scored, and as our 20,000 fans were silent, you could just hear five guys yelling in celebration. It was a really weird and eerie experience.
As a Wimbledon fan I don’t appreciate the insinuation that we no longer exist. AFC Wimbledon is the direct continuation of Wimbledon FC and we claim all of that history as our own. We’ve overcome more as a club than any club in English football and are establishing ourselves in league 1 (barely but still...)

Very interesting video but the story is unimpressive from the Polish point of view. Here are the 7 worst teams formerly competing in I league, later called Ekstraklasa (generally the top level of the Polish system) counting from the season 1990/91. I understand of course the differences in Polish and English sports, political and economic history but there you go - have fun. If I've made any mistake, feel free to challenge.
1. Olimpia Poznań (in 1st L. till 1993) - the club exists but no longer has a football section.
2. Amica Wronki (in 1st L. from 1995 till 2006), three-times winner of Polish cup. - exists but does not have a senior team in any league.
3. Dyskobolia Grodzisk Wielkopolski (in 1st, L. from 1997 till 2008 (one break), the one that sent Manchester City packing in the UEFA cup 2003/04) - klasa okręgowa - 6th/7th tier.
3. Sokół Pniewy (in 1st L. 1993-1995) league V (6th tier).
4. Odra Wodzisław (1st L. - 1996-2010 without break) - league IV (5th tier)
5. Zawisza Bydgoszcz (cup winner 2014) - league IV (5th tier)
6. Szombierki Bytom - league IV (5th tier)
7. Igloopol Dębica - league IV (5th tier).
There are also some clubs which are a little higher but too low given their successful history. They include e.g. Ruch Chorzów (now league III - 4th tier) (14 championships, 3 cups).

Can you do another video on Hull City, or a video that features us in some way. Maybe a what happened to/where are they now on our 2007/08 play off season. You could also do videos like that for teams like Leicester's title winning team, or Wigan's 2011 (I think) FA cup winning team.
Bradford going to be zooming into 2nd in this list pretty quickl, Our team is the worst I've seen in over 20 years watching the club. Really fearing relegation.
On another note, I remember being at Valley Parade when we played Wimbledon in 02/03 (I think). The boycott by Wimbledon fans was in full effect, and there were literally only 5 fans in the away end. They scored, and as our 20,000 fans were silent, you could just hear five guys yelling in celebration. It was a really weird and eerie experience.

As a Wimbledon fan I don’t appreciate the insinuation that we no longer exist. AFC Wimbledon is the direct continuation of Wimbledon FC and we claim all of that history as our own. We’ve overcome more as a club than any club in English football and are establishing ourselves in league 1 (barely but still...)
@John Saunders I see your point of view, but I love all of Wimbledon’s history, even when they had a bad rep, it is still important to who we are now.
