  • People Mirin Me Powerlift 2 compilation! I scraped the rest of my hard drive, and was able to squeeze out another compilation. I'm glad was able do so! I hope you enjoy this video, I had an absolute blast making it.

    Honestly.. when I see a fellow power lifter going for a heavy set or single, I’ll look on purpose to give them that “all eyes on me” feeling so they hit they’re set/lift

      @@MrSham3less I am not a power lifter just a casual, but since it is extremely rare too see more than 100kg/225lbs on a squat or 140kg/315lbs on a deadlift I too watch. I watch openly though if I sense they are okay with it.

      I injured my back just recently (a month ago) in fact I'm still recovering from it & before when boomers told me too warm up before lifting heavier weights I always thought "what a stupid idea why waste your strength warming up with baby weight" & "they're only saying that because they think the weight that I use is heavier than it actually is for me" but now that I'm recovering I always do warmup sets before hand. So some boomer advice is legit I guess; I'm not saying all of it is but some of the stuff they say is worth a listen. But yeah I agree that telling people too lift lighter to avoid injury is kind of dumb because what's considered "heavy" is completely relative to a person.

      @ just not true tho lmao, I've looked at the literature and lifting heavy with good form just isn't that dangerous compared to other sports. Advanced powerlifters who lift 700+ lbs injur themselves far less often than amateurs tryna deadlift 315 with a cat back.

      @@JustLeein Yes man,my comment sounded cliche but I really dont say that to anyone,would you just mind telling me what sets and reps would you recommend for a stronger deadlift (if there are some) or other compounds (if Im not bothering you too much) aside from 5x5s. Just a quick background,I've been training for 7.5 months and started by just bodybuilding and now I'm doing powerlifting too especially for the compounds,I bench and squat 2xweek and deadlift 1xweek,I used to deadlift 2xweek but thats probably not needed on my level and overtraining.

      How’d you herniate your disc? Mind if I ask how old you are? Most disk herniations are caused from age related degeneration.

      @@JustLeein 24 now and i think i herniated my disc when i was 18 when i started lifting but just recently it was irritated so i went to the doctor and discovered that i had 2 herniated discs

    You do need to clean up your pulling technique. I know I'm just a guy on the internet, but if you look at the best tested pullers you see they almost all have a great control over their lumbar spine, which you are lacking right now. Just a thought from someone who lifts less than you.

    Had this 6’7” dude with fucking combat boots and cargo pants. With hoodie and Dark Shades on. Doing boxed Squats with fuckinnn over 500. He was doing six plates for sure that I remember. But can’t remember the smaller weights he had on. Guy was closing in on at the least 600 pounds. And he was pause reppin it. He did over six to eight reps. I was just like wtf!       I don't get how you think you can read the minds of all these people.
      The only time I'll watch/pay attention to anyone lifting in the gym is if they're pushing a lot of weight, and I want to see if they actually get it or not.

      @@MiggsMultiple mainly because I am not in a caloric surplus. I am 205-210 lbs . I'm not really interested in getting heavier. It's unhealthy and eating 4k calories is an absolute chore. I'm not a bodybuilder. I just wanna look like I lift but be able to lift some heavy ass weights.
