- After checking out some of my recent car purchases - we head to Daigo Saito's legendary Fat Five Land. Got to drift my first AWD car - and see one of the craziest collections of track and street cars in the world! LZMFG.com

I’m pretty sure he said in his video where he explained his silver r33 gtr that he bought a kn6 r33 in japan and was going to sell the silver one because of it. So yeah, the kn6 r33 we saw in this video is definitely his.

@@Void-gn9zm fact is. His dream isn't exactly mine. So, I may don't have aspirations of competing in FD. I don't want to be famous. I do have passions to follow my automotive dreams. I also hope to visit Japan. But, clearly... Adam is living his best life. That is inspiring in many ways. That being said. I admire your inspiration. You definitely get it. But, I do plan on achieving all my goals. I just hope he doesn't take it for granted.
@@davidblanck4131 it sure does look like hes living the dream but im sure he takes nothing for granted because he probably has or still has the same doubts and insecurities about his path and career in life that anyone else following their passion will also come across, its not about how far you go its just trusting the ride and sticking to your commitment
@@davidblanck4131 to add on to my comment, think about how adam feels being near a world class drift champion and racing mechanic, meanwhile that champion probably has his own doubts (working around japanese law to even have a compound) but he knows he needs to be calm and confident in his decisions and knows time and effort will get shit done

Diagoland is the only place that can even slightly rival the compound. He’s got you beat on how much character the place has by far though.
Loved seeing some well modded exotics, and I’m so jealous of the beater Miata’s and skidpad. That’s a formula for endless happiness.

The intensity of Adams face when he was figuring out the all wheel drive drift is not something you see in most of his driving videos. Very cool tour of his place. So much stuff.
Collect and Adam interacting with the kid makes me hope for family related car content from them one day 😂
What Adam experienced with the AWD drifting is what I like about Front wheel drive, you can throw the car around and cause oversteer but then power out, assuming the wheels are pointing where you want the car to go it will just straighten out. Very fun, and very predictable.
One very important thing to know about sliding an AWD Subaru specifically, do not pull the handbrake in car w/o a DCCD gearbox, doing so puts a ton of load on various things because it doesn't cut off the front axle - you're literally trying to stop all 4 wheels with the handbrake lol.
@@dyIanVII you can pull the hard brake just have the clutch pulled in. I do it all the time on mine and its still fine.

@@jackdavies9626 Clutch in would only disconnect the engine from the transmision and wheels, but it wouldn't disconnect the front from the rear wheels.
Daigos setup is straight gas.... That man is a legend for sure, but his lil hotspot is super rad. Hes definitely still on top of his build game too, for sure.
I envy you Adam, the life you have is just amazing. The stuff you do and have achieved is just astonishing. I appreciate your time to record your progress in your life and this movement you have created in the car community is very positive. I wish I could do the stuff you do but I chose a different path in life and had to give up on a lot of dreams for the time being. But as I get older, I get more joy out of someone I love having a passion and striving for that goal. Appreciate everything you do brother

Honestly I had the biggest smile throughout the whole Daigo Land tour, that's a place that makes you feel happy like a child to work in.
Damn dude this trip has been full of bucket list dream experiences, it just keeps getting better 👌👌 Daigo is the true definition of a OG and is such a huge part of drifting and just jdm car culture in general. The fact that you got to hang with him all day and drift little miatas at daigoland must have been so awesome. Thank you for filming and taking us through it I really appreciate it man.👍

I've been watching Adam since back around the time the low cars high hops tees came out and I can honestly say I don't think I've seen nearly as much excitement on his face as he had after drifting that Subaru

Adam well done on the 4wd drifting. It’s not easy I know that for a fact back in 2013/2014 I was using my Hawkeye to do Gymkhana here in the uk against Ken block and that was really tough well done man

Loving all the land of the rising sun content. It's good to know you can still be a car enthusiast in such a densely populated country. In Japan there are 899 people per square mile vs only 94 people per square mile in the states.

its because FD (or really any competition) is a mental game. That is its own separate struggle and it 100% contributes to how you perform. Adam can drive, there's no doubt about it. But i don't think people realise how challenging it is mentally and the effect it has on your driving.. Buts that's something you learn to deal with through many years of experience
