Rating most of everything a 7 seems to be psychological because ive seen it everywhere. You think its good but not amazing so you rate it 7, and due to your standards everything ends up in that category. You don't rate anything higher because surely there must be something more deserving, when in reality those would all be 8s and youd never find a 10 due to your standards.

Pac’s bread-and-butter combos at 0% can include nair to 2 fairs and up throw to nair (which can also potentially be followed up by a fair or dair). In neutral, you’ll want to space out and poke your opponents use fair and nair. Maybe even dair if you can align the hits correctly. Pac-Man can do tons of things with his items and specials, so that means he has a LOT of item-based/setup-based combos, defensive options, neutral options, and kill options! Cherries, Strawberries, and Oranges are good to just throw out in order to dish out or cancel out other attacks. Melons are good for mindgames and ledgetraps. Galaxians are great for combos at earlier percents, Bells are great for either extending combos or confirming a kill, and Keys are a beefy kill option. Using some of these fruits in-sync with a hydrant or a trampoline is great for applying pressure to your opponent! Hydrant itself is great to throw out to give some space between you and the opponent. That way you have extra time to charge your fruits. Trampolines can be thrown out to nullify incoming projectiles on the ground, so this is another great option to use if you really need to charge your fruits! That’s pretty much all I have for right now. Overall, Pac has a TON of options for defensive and offensive plays. His item plays and mindgames are what I LOVE about this character! And also because I’ve wanted him in Smash since Melee. If you have anything else to ask, let me know!! :)

As for ratings, I'd rather you guys have your own distinct rationale than peer pressure. There should be more disagreements and respectful arguing. I just think it'd be more entertaining that way. The Pac-man trampoline double kill at 6:40 was likely Ness attacking the trampoline causing it to keep getting hurt/used so it changes colors fast and eventually reaching red while they both land on it. What happened in the falcon clip is that after the first hit of the jab reset he ran him off the ledge so he could grab him out of the air and then down throw knee as the other player probably wasn't prepared to DI the throw in the slightest or even DI'd in. actually nutty as fuck edit: nvm you guys went right in to test it you're sharp as always
I fucking love this series so far, and I think their ratings are fairly accurate. Most, if not all, of this stuff lacks that absolute WOW factor that would make it a 10. I can't wait to see the first 10, because I know it will be pretty damn cool. Keep up the great work BSD!!!
Im confused why they said the ddd gordo to spike was a classic at 8:03 but last week said the samus bomb to spike was lame and over done. both were shield breaks and projectile to spike. Guess they just decided to be nicer this week.
For the ness and pacman clip. They both die from a fresh bounce pad. That's because pacman's recovery takes damage and loses phases. Ive tried it before. You can test yourself with projectiles. Like ness pk fire
