Kendo really need 60fps videos but thank to slow motion this one is possible to realize what happened.

Kendo needs to be in the olympics. Then again, it’s such a beautiful art that putting it in the olympics would diminish the beauty of tradition.

I practiced kendo for a decade. And back then already, we were all opposed to the idea of kendo joining the Olympics. Fast forward to today, and I'm still opposed to the idea of kendo being in the Olympics.

Creo que no es buena idea, se acabaría convirtiendo en un deporte más, con patrocinadores, negocios de por medio, equipos sólo especializados en ganar y hacer puntos, y se perdería la filosofía que hay detrás.

I dont think its a problem. Japan would still maintain the tradition and values and olympics would take care of sports side. Both can live together in my opinion. Anyhow, I think Kendo could allow more attack areas so the Shiai could be more dynamic. Its difficult to understand why kendo rules is so restrictive. Why so few valid area to attack?
