    Thank you for the review! I'm glad you reviewed this epilator. How long does it take to fully charge the epilator from 0-100%?

    • @evianbakes

      Glad you found my review helpful. I've never really timed each charge. I typically just leave it charging during the day on days I know I'll be using it and then use it at night. Each charge lasts quite a few uses so I don't charge it too often.

    What about the pain? I am looking to upgrade at the moment, I have the Braun silk epil 5 and it's so painful, I really like that you mentioned that this one is quieter that's a plus for sure, but my decision is based on pain level, How would you rate the pain on this one?

    Hey! Thank you so much for the review - do you think it's worth getting this model over the SE9870?

    • @evianbakes
      @evianbakes  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      hi there! I personally have not tried the SE9870 but the main difference would be the flex head vs non-flex head, in my opinion the flex head is nice and makes epilating a bit easier and faster but absolutely not a necessity though. hope this helps!

    Hi! I would like to know if this product is still as effective as at the beginning of your use? Do you think it worth the price ? And also, how much time it takes to take of your legs hair? Otherwise thank you so much I was searching for a non sponsored review and find it with your video!! (Sorry for my english I’m not native english speaking)

      Hi! Yes, this epilator works just as well as when I first got it (about a year ago). It takes me less than 10 mins to epilate my legs. A few of my friends who don't have fine hair have said less expensive epilators works well for them. Unfortunately, cheaper epilators don't grab fine hairs as good as this one so to me this is worth it. I recommend this if you have fine hair. Hope this was helpful and answers your questions:)

  • @ProdigiousReturn
    @ProdigiousReturn 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Do you recommend this over the older nonflex epil 9? The old one is over a hundred cheaper now. It used to be claimed to be the best, but it’s lack of rotating head was said to be its only negative (harder to epilate curvier areas)

    • @evianbakes
      @evianbakes  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I've never tried the older nonflex version however according to the product details it seems to be similar, even has the micro-grip tech which is my favorite part about this epilator. I do enjoy having the flex head but not a must have in my opinion. Hope this was helpful!

    • @evianbakes
      @evianbakes  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      It does hurt a little but it depends on your pain tolerance, it's very similar to waxing minus the wax. It basically pulls hair out like waxing does except with tweezers.

      @evianbakes  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yes I've had it for close to a year now and still love it. I highly recommend it especially for people with fine hair since most other epilators can't grip fine hair as good as this one. I would say one charge lasts me about 2-3 uses. Hope this was helpful:)

    I tried this for the first time today on my arms and armpits. It honestly did a really good job on my armpits but I did bleed a tiny bit which surprised me! I got small red spots that bled just a drop of blood which is apparently bc there's tiny blood vessels connected to the hair bulb which gets pulled out. I've read other ppl say this stops after a couple of uses.
    But what I'm really surprised at is that it broke my arm hair instead of pulling it out! 😧 Maybe I'm doing smth wrong and need to try again, but I have really fine hair on my arms which is why I found your review especially helpful. When I looked at my arm closely after epilating I could see the hair still there, maybe 0.5mm long or even shorter, just barely there but still. If this is just the device simply not working on my arms It's fine though, I mainly bought it for my armpits and legs, maybe bikini line if I'm brave enough 😅
    Thank you for this review btw, it helped me a lot when choosing my first epilator! ^^

    • @evianbakes
      @evianbakes  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I've had that happen to me initially too! but what helped me was epilating after a warm shower or bath and I also exfoliate to prep my skin. I find that these two things combined solved the issue for me, I know everyone's skin is different but hopefully it helps.
      And thank you for being so sweet:)

      I am considering buying this, so just curious, how is it going with it? :) I will start with my legs, but if it works well on armpits and bikini area, I would consider doing that eventually. How is the pain level - is it tolerable after a few times? (bikini and armpits)
      I guess armpits and bikini line have coarser hairs, so it makes sense that it would take a few times to 'weaken' the follicles enough, and get them used to plucking.

    Is it very painful to use this epilator, please answer me?

    • @evianbakes
      @evianbakes  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, to me this epilator is less painful when compared to waxing. I think it will depend on your own pain tolerance though, and some areas of the body will hurt more to epilate for example the armpits because the hair is thicker. Hope this answers your question!

    • @evianbakes
      @evianbakes  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes it does. There were times it missed some hairs but it was because I moved the epilator way too quick for it to grab all the hairs so I would just go over the same area again. Hope that answers your question:)

      Yea I agree, it's hard cleaning all the hairs out from inside the epilator even with the brush but I try my best haha. Normally I'll take the skin contact cap off to brush the inside and then I'll rinse the cap under water

      Yeah dear I was the same way but my hairs in the epilator is stuck under the tweezers and it can be seen beneath the epilator my mistake is I remove large enough hairs from my legs that's y I guess it is stuck... That's dear for ur kind replay.

      @@aqsaakomal3182 Oh my.. I haven't experienced that myself. Another tip: Not sure if you tried this already but what I also do to clean it is after I've removed the skin contact cap and brushed it, I'll also hold the epilator over the sink or trash can and turn it on, normally what I'll see is a lot of leftover hairs fly out. It helps get rid of any hairs that didnt come off with the brush. Not sure if this was helpful but hope it helps:)
