- We have been counting down the days to get to Pakistan! This is our video of crossing the border from India to Pakistan; crossing the Wagah border from Amritsar to Lahore, Pakistan.

@@AwaywiththeSteiners if you get a chance you should visit Mirpur, Azad Kashmir. It's basically called little England because of how many British Pakistani's are linked to the city. Its a mix of the UK and Pakistan in terms of culture.

That’s crazy that They allowed you to film so much at the crossing.
Yes; because in between the two borders is the same space where the Wagah Border Ceremony is held every evening (so that is not actually immigration or customs).
We didn’t think we’d be able to film as much as we did. I asked a few time’s and the were fine with it, we wanted to show as much as we could. Give as much info as possible. It was all pretty friendly.

All tier 2 cities in India are getting modernized from 2005 onwards. Example Lucknow, Surat, Pune, Nagpur, Bhopal, Cochin, Mangalore, Visakhapatnam, Bhubaneswar etc.
The holy city Amritsar has not changed and looks outdated look of 1980s be it, Road, Building, Flyovers, Cleanliness etc.
I visited Amritsar in 2020. It seems that There is no plan for modernizing the city.

Hi! im going from Lahore to Amritsar later in October and worried about how to work the border situation. Where did you put your port of entry on your evisa as when I apply it does not let me put a land border crossing.? waga border does not seem to be an option, the closest is Amristar airport.

Hey there you just need to be before the border ceremony in the afternoon. But always best to leave extra time - I would go earlier rather than later. Check our website for complete border crossing guide (and updated for this year too!).
