- The Karnataka government on April 22 handed over the Neha Hiremath murder case to the CID. While speaking to ANI, Neha’s father Niranjan Hiremath got emotional and expressed gratitude for the step taken by the Karnataka government.
“Today is the 5th day of the ritual after the funeral, We prayed at the cenotaph, and I have promised my daughter… When I came from the Cenotaph the press media informed me that the Chief Minister had handed over the murder case to CID… I came here telling her soul that I will get you justice,” said Niranjan Hiremath.
