In Karnataka BJP is scared of losing big-time. Crash from 26/28 to 15/28 or below looks certain. BJP's betrayal in depriving funds to state, zero development, corruption and poor governance, failure to deliver on the promises by Modi. Present Cong govt is blatantly pro muslim and that is not likely to erode the popularity they have earned by delivering on promises made to the poor people.
Karnataka was a Hindutva stronghold even before 2014. Modi - Shah combine has broken the back of the state. Lack of honesty and trust deficit with the party leadership are the key factors.
