Really cute faces but they remind me of dolls from my childhood in the 60s that had no articulation and had no heft...hollow. Maybe that's why I fell in love with RH
In Japan, when I was there at least, the Licca fashion packs were around the same price as the dolls. Most of the dolls in Toys R Us, and other toy stores were around 35/40$ for Licca. The “collector” type were around 50, or more. But it’s more like the type of fashion they had rather than the doll itself being different, like there wasn’t a big physical difference i.e. Silkstone vs Playline with Barbie. When a friend asked me to get one, I looked but it was more or less the same price being sold online for Licca vs. in store. The Tokyo Olympics one for example was 40$ in store, and was that same price online.
Jellyfish girl is pretty cute, probably the most interesting. I've been meaning to get one of these dolls, specifically the blazer one, but I prefer Liccas more posable and usually don't feel like spending money on both the doll plus an articulated body. I might still get the schoolgirl fashion pack though. It's too bad the shirts and skirts aren't separate, but I like those outfits best.
They are adorable dolls. I love float Jellyfish and I thought she would be my favorite, but I agree about her top. Yui Yui's different face mold is so cute. I was most impressed overall by Popteen. Good luck completing the collection.
I've figured the stand out recently! Instead of putting the stand behind the leg, try putting it to the side instead. It's still an awful stand, and you have other stands that you can use so tbh its not worth the struggle lol. But I have realized putting the stand sideways worked out much better. Also, YuiYui is Liccas best friend, so that's probably why she has the Dear my Friend bff on her shirt. (japan and their english aesthetics) The bra and panties are interesting, because all of my #licca dolls have both! I guess it just depends on what they're wearing. Random side note: At first I didnt really like how cheapy and hollow their legs were, but I've come to realize a lot of adult licca collectors pop their heads on pure neemo bodies. (maybe thats why they made the legs like that? idk, maybe they didn't think that far...still expensive for what the body is. but I also still love them so much LOL)
popteen is a real magazine! 7+ME Link, the group name on her box, is also a real group formed by popteen and consists of 10 of the magazines popular models. they have two units, MAGICOUR and PureGi that release music, while 7+ME Link is just the project name. i believe the doll was released to promote the project. popteen is one of the most popular magazines in japan and both of the groups associated with it make super good music
I don't know if you know this but they ended up doing a second "cat themed" #licca doll! She's called Meow Meow Galaxy and she's insane, total must buy if you're a cat person.
Meow Meow Galaxy is a fashion pack that is being shown on cosme lover in the image on the box. I talk about it a bit in this video. I wish it was an actual doll 😭
I've heard of them before and considered getting one to try, but with all the dolls that have been out over the last couple of years, I sort of forgot about them. I do think Yuiyui is really cute. Maybe I will try one at some point soon :)
have you ever done a review on azone dolls? specifically the koron sweet punk girl? i just recently ordered her and i’m curious to know if the azone dolls have sewn in hair and also just their general quality, they’re such cute little dolls
Popteen is a real magazine, you are spot on. They carry it at Kinokuniya
👀

That’s her fashion pack! I’m hoping to buy it soon- it’s DARLING

i believe her outfit is based off of MAGICOURs debut single (MAGIC), the color scheme is super similar
They are soooo cute!
i love it! beautiful 😍🥰😍
I definitely want the mermaid outfit pack for Yuiyui it looks so cute!
love these dolls too 🥰

Pop teen is soooo cute
Heyo would the blazer outfit be able to be cut in half
Coz the velcro goes long enough

I have! The Love Live ones specifically if you need help searching for the reviews. They’re high quality but their articulation is really odd
The last doll reminds me of daphne
Pop teen was a Gyaru magazine. Now it’s more mainstream.
Suing over the fact that the doll isn’t a gyaru?? HUH??
@@xCanadensis who’s suing I stated that Popteen was a Gyaru magazine. Now it’s more catered towards the mainstream girl lol
@@jamesprovost2602 oh no I’m saying like I want to sue because I wish she was
@@xCanadensis yes a actual Gyaru doll would be awesome without having to customize one ☝️🌺💖
The school ones hair reminds me of harmonix Aisha/Layla
Hi!
Are these dolls taller then Barbie? Or same height? Also could they wear different doll clothes?
That's such a shame about the one-piece schoolgirl dress because YuiYui's purple sweater with that skirt woulda been awesome
other ones are probably older Licca
Are these Licca dolls the same height as the Jenny dolls
Basically the same but they do have a different body
@@xCanadensis sweet, I'll have to look more into these
