I’d love love to hear your guy’s backstory and how the band came to be. I love the messages of your songs and the may layers of meaning you can dig into if you really look. I wanna see you guys get more eyes and ears on your music, but then again there are consequences to popularity. You always feel the need to feed the mainstream audiences and some bands loose who they originally were. Sammy Davis Jr. didn’t like the song “Candyman” but it was the thing the revived his career and put him back in the spotlight even though he just wanted to perform his more meaningful songs. I’m telling you guys right now; never change. Your music is hard to compare to anything else and that’s great. You got your own style and you gotta stick with it. “Coexist” was a nice softer song that I enjoy a lot, It would have been the perfect thing to sneak onto mainstream radio like other less mainstream bands have like Disturbed and Five Finger Death Punch. You guys keep being you and success will come, I promise.

I believe you are missing the point of the message. First of all, the first location you speak of is a cheap Airbnb. And secondly, the message of the song isn’t about just bashing anyone with money. Plenty of people work hard, and deserve every penny they make. The song is about opening our eyes to the power-hungry corporations and politicians profiting from destroying the environment and causing conflict amongst the people. Glad you enjoy the tune, just wanted to educate you on the real message though! :)

Mark and Sarah loved it and asked if they could record it. I allowed The Letter Black to record that tune but ended up changing the title hook to "Sick Charade" for them since they were concerned about a Christian band at the time who had just recently had a song called "Masquerade". I ended up not releasing my original version as a Sin Shake Sin song until I let them have their run with it. :) I thought it was too heavy for Sin Shake Sin at the time, but then.. Dude has the musical talent and geopolitical awareness comparable to a Tom MacDonald. If he could figure out how to manipulate the human algorithm in a similar fashion he would easily be Rocks biggest independent superstar. But thats just my opinion. Which is never wrong.

Okay sorry but this is basically I rip off of the song "Sick Charade" by Christian Metal band The Letter Black. Still love it since I love that soung but its a rip. Don't know what the rules are in the music industry but this is DEFINITELY borrowing whether intentional or not from that song.

Cool how u actually know them and let them use it! I've always found the music side of things fascinating because there's only so many chords so how is it there aren't more legal trouble with bands. Another one u may have heard about is Christian hip hop artist Flame and Katy Perry. Flame accused Katy Perry of copying his song "Praise the lord" on her song "Dark Horse" and said due to the Egyptian imagaery useed in the song he was getting bad press. Another one people have noticed is Skillet's "Monster" and TDG's "Animal I' Have become" which has the same opening.
