The look of excitement and giddy on Til’s face while walking towards the cooking pot after the last flame throw, turns into quick sadness and failure on Til’s face when Til looks into the pot, seeing Flake still alive & uncooked. LoL.

The flame thrower uses lycopodium spores, a powder which can be blown out and burn with a light but not so hot flame. They use it a lot as it has a lower temperature than gas or liquids and is less dangerous. Someone said that Rammstein bought about 80 percent of the world production of lycopodium spores for one of their tours.

One of the best live numbers in their set list. Please notice at the end, where the keyboard player is running across the stage on fire, that there are small firework bombs dropping down on him from the stage roof. Its simply insane, yet fun and cool.

Background and composition:
The song is inspired by the case of Armin Meiwes and Bernd Jürgen Armando Brandes. In March 2001, in Rotenburg an der Fulda, the two men aged in their 40s met each other, cut off and cooked Brandes' penis and consumed it together. Afterwards, Meiwes killed Brandes - with Brandes' permission - and ate his remains. As a result, Meiwes was sentenced to eight-and-a-half years in jail for manslaughter, but was later charged with murder and sentenced to life imprisonment. According to bassist Oliver "Ollie" Riedel, the song came about after "one of our members brought a newspaper to rehearsal and it had a story about the cannibal guy in it. We were fascinated, shocked and amused at the same time". Vocalist Till Lindemann stated, "It is so sick that it becomes fascinating and there just has to be a song about it".[2] A prominent phrase in the song is "... denn du bist, was du isst, und ihr wisst, was es ist" ("Because you are what you eat, and you (pl.) know what it is").

Love your reactions!In 1988 there was a flight show accident near the German town Ramstein (only 1 m,not 2!).
70 people were killed,1000 injured.The song ``Rammstein``is about this.Best versions from their 2019 tour,Berlin or Moscow.

Short lesson EI says "I" and IE says "E"
Ex. Drei, Teil, mein have the i Sound as in Mine , find, Kind etc and words like Rammlied, vier, Bier have the e Sound like in me, Tea, See etc. So Rammlied is pronounced like rammleet. In German when the letter D is at the end of a word it Sounds more like T..
