You call it a funky ship but I really like those class of ships because they are all different from each other and not over crowded. My family did Icon of the Seas a few months ago and what a beautiful ship but it was just so so crowded with long lines everywhere.
I agree, plus I really enjoy the extra storage space in these Spirit class ships.. sailed on the Mardi Gras and the balcony room was narrow and not really enough storage for a family of 4. In fact it was hard to navigate some suitcases through the entry door and around the beds in order to unpack them.
Love the smaller ships. This is a mirror of the Legend (sailed on about 7 times), so I'll feel right at home on the Pride. Thanks again for a wonderful tour. I'm ready to go! Happy cruising everyone!🛳❤
The hot tub in the gym on this ship is my favorite out of all the ships I’ve been on. I went in there one night while everyone was at dinner and just laid back and watched the stars through the skylight.
I appreciate these tours so much. I’ve cruise a decent amount but you can’t be on all the ships so it’s educational to see what other cruise lines and ships have to offer. This was very thorough.
What a wonderful walk down memory lane. Thank You!! I was on the Pride for 14 days in the Northern Sea in August of 2021 when she sailed out of Dover, England. She was my first Carnival Cruise Line experience. The elegance and beauty of the design are truly breath taking. I am going to find a way to book a cruise on her again.
Been on The Pride a few times and had a blast each time. There is just something about smaller ships that we like. The entertainment lacked a tiny bit the last time but we still enjoyed our time. By the way the towel was a mermaid , lol
Tony the place by the alchemy bar is a nite club. The Legend & the Pride built the same second pool that roof retracts. Love both ship. I took my journey cruises on those a lot of fun. Those senior citizens, gamblers know how to party 🎉🎉🎉😊
Wow! EXCELLENT coverage on this tour. Thank you so much, Tony. I didn't realize this was such a long trip for you, 2+ weeks. I know you must have missed the lovely JENNY B!
Thanks for the tour! We cruised on the Carnival Pride back in 2019 and I can see some changes that were made from 5 years ago. That was our 1st cruise and we had a great time. My next cruise was in 2023 on the Carnival Legend. Both were were ported in Baltimore where we boarded. I heard that it was overseas for a while but thought I heard you mention that it was headed into Norfolk. I assumed you were talking about Virginia. Thanks again for the tour where our maiden voyage took place!
Hi Tony. Thank you for the tour. It's been a minute since I was on the Pride. Lot's of memories from that ship. A few changes but basically the same. It is very different regarding the decor. Saw that lightning, pretty cool! As always thank you for all you do. I'm sure Jenny was happy to get you back home. ❤
OMG you got a mermaid towel animal! 😍 I love all class ships, even the biggest. But there is something special that makes me absolutely love this class 🥰 Thank you for the updated tour!
I have difficulty with too many colors, too much light, and too much sound, but each section individually, I can see that many spots are absolutely spectacular. They really did go all out for that ship. Two weeks on a cruise ship sounds like heaven!
Great tour. Baltimore is so happy to have her back. Climbing aboard in 11 more days 🎉❤😊❤🏝️🏖️⛱️🛳️⚓️🛟🎰🎤🎧🎼🤿🧉🍹🍸🥃🍾🥂🍷🍻🌊☂️🌦️🌤️🌞🌸🌺🪸🐚🌴. We were on her going under the Francis Scott Key Bridge 2 weeks before the bridge Collapsed. I have been cruising from Baltimore since cruise ships started cruising from Baltimore (long time). I watched the bridge be built in 72-77 , drove over it the first week it opened in 77 , cruised under her about 50 times and now at my 85th cruise since 1985 it will be a first not seeing our ship going under Our Bridge. I’m sure the emotions will be flowing as we all sail through the Baltimore Harbour for the first time without our Historic Bridge to Cheer us onward into the Chesapeake Bay then onto the Atlantic Ocean 😢. Prayers for those lost in that horrific accident and for their families ❤️🙏🏼
We were on the Spirit a few months ago and it was beautiful as well. Everything was ornate and there was artistic detail everywhere you looked. Loved the extra public spaces and seating areas too. Great class of ships!
Great ship tour! The older ships are interesting. Never sailed on the Pride but have on the Legend about 10 years ago. Right now I prefer the newer/larger ships but could see going on another one this size in the future.
Tony, that was a great ship tour. We'll be on Pride for the first time in November for a Journey's cruise to the Southern Caribbean. We were on Legend last year for a similar cruise & the ships are almost identical. But it was so nice to watch this video to see what the differences are. Thanks for this, a fantastic job You definitely got your steps in on this cruise!!!
Thank you for the wonderful preview, Tony! I am really looking forward to sailing on the Pride (hopefully) from Baltimore in September! I really appreciate the ship tour! Much love to you and Jenny!
Great ship tour! I’ve been on the Carnival Miracle and this class of ships is just awesome! So much space and so many seating areas. I definitely need to try more ships in this class.
Pride was my daughter's first cruise. Now she's graduating high school. So glad we got our Pride back. Love this ship! David's steakhouse was great the last time we ceuised on her. My daughter celebrated her 7th and 10th birthdays there. She still talks about those mashed potatoes 😂.
The ship it definitely a unique design clearly from another time in cruising. Ornate and in some ways beautiful but definitely on the gaudy side. Kind of like "old Vegas". Great tour and interesting ship. I do not have a completely perverted mind but doesn't the two pools remind you of male and female "parts"? 😂 Thanks for showing us around Tony.
I would LOVE to see this ship sail out of Galveston. I would definitely book passage on it. I LOVE IT! Thanks for the walk through. Are you using a DJI 2 or 3 for your videos? I recently bought a DJI 2 and am so looking forward to testing it out on the Breeze this Ocrober.
I love the Sprit Class ships - thanks for the tour - we sailed the Pride in 2015 but I don't remember the Sunset Garden. We are hoping to sail on the Pride for the 14 day, Greenland/Canada sailing.
Here ya go Tony: per Google A lepidopterist is an entomologist who specialises in studying butterflies and moths. The name lepidopterist is derived from the name of the Order of butterflies and moths, Lepidoptera.
Thanks for doing this Tony!! I’ve never seen a ship tour on the Pride. I’ve only seen ParoDeeJay on it but they don’t show the ship much at all. So thank you!! 😊
I like the older ships. Seem like they are more together. The new ships are morespread out as far as eating and entertainment, but I understand why, so many people they try to keep crowds down.
Ive only been on 4 cruises, and this ship was my favorite. Not to small, not too big like the Breeze or Horizon. Its just right and I wish it was out of Florida again. Ill only ride a ship under 110 tons now. Too many people, too many distractions, and way too many lines.
I really like the older designs. It looks like this ship has been kept up very well. I love the cruise companies that still do towel animals. It's a special touch. Thanks for sharing.
We sailed on the Pride when it was only a couple years old. Your tour took me way back. It was great to see the look of that ship. That Renaissance thyme was wild. Loved that ship.
Thanks for the tour of this beautiful ship. The design and layout are geared toward the comfort of the guests and not the revenue generating amenities that the newer ships are. The artwork is interesting and I appreciate the thought that was obviously put into the decor of the public spaces. Beautiful, beautiful ship.
Right, not a lover of the mega ships. Way too many people. We cruise for the ports & serenity of the ocean. Not interested in a theme park environment.
You nailed Carnival in two words: gloriously gaudy. Reminds me of Vegas. My husband is an architect, and he remarked that they take it to the top and then go way over. He is not fan but he'll travel on one with family. Have you seen the Medea nightclub on Legend? This ship reminds me of that one. Safe journey home, Tony!
@@LaLidoLoca , oops, the night club is actually called Medusa's Lair, and it is wild. They told us in September it will be converted to a restaurant when Legend is drydocked because it's two levels so ton of square feet. It is out of this world. Hundreds of snakes. There are some TH-cam videos. Cheers!
We have done 27 different classes of ships and the Spirit class is right up near the top with the Oasis class and the Pride is our favorite ship in that class. Very relaxing, been on her five times. Someday you will have to do a Journey cruise out of Baltimore, favorite port for us to cruise out of. Relaxing trip down the Chesapeake for approx 8 hrs.
You call it a funky ship but I really like those class of ships because they are all different from each other and not over crowded. My family did Icon of the Seas a few months ago and what a beautiful ship but it was just so so crowded with long lines everywhere.
Couldn't agree more.
I agree, plus I really enjoy the extra storage space in these Spirit class ships.. sailed on the Mardi Gras and the balcony room was narrow and not really enough storage for a family of 4. In fact it was hard to navigate some suitcases through the entry door and around the beds in order to unpack them.
Is it John Wayne toilet paper? -- It's rough! It's tough! And it doesn't take crap from anybody!😀
Love the smaller ships. This is a mirror of the Legend (sailed on about 7 times), so I'll feel right at home on the Pride. Thanks again for a wonderful tour. I'm ready to go! Happy cruising everyone!🛳❤

Thanks for the tour Tony, it reminded us of what a great ship it is, the decor sort of takes you back in time.
Been on The Pride a few times and had a blast each time. There is just something about smaller ships that we like. The entertainment lacked a tiny bit the last time but we still enjoyed our time. By the way the towel was a mermaid , lol

I like that ship. Thank you for the tour
going on this ship in a month and a half of my third cruise, thanks for the upload, was excited to see a recent tour
Back in 2019, we celebrated our 30th anniversary on the pride..It’s still a beautiful ship!!!
Going on Pride in July. Thanks for the tour☺️☺️
Great tour. Baltimore is so happy to have her back. Climbing aboard in 11 more days 🎉❤😊❤🏝️🏖️⛱️🛳️⚓️🛟🎰🎤🎧🎼🤿🧉🍹🍸🥃🍾🥂🍷🍻🌊☂️🌦️🌤️🌞🌸🌺🪸🐚🌴. My husband and I got married on the pride. I adore that ship! Wonderful tour.
Thanks Tony for the tour it was Amazing 🙏❤️
Great tour! I think I would enjoy this ship...
I really enjoy your content Tony! I look forward to it everyday. Keep it up!
beautiful and reminded me of the miracle
If this ship was a house for sale, someone would put it on Zillow Gone Wild. 😂 Definitely over the top.
Great ship tour! The older ships are interesting. Never sailed on the Pride but have on the Legend about 10 years ago. Right now I prefer the newer/larger ships but could see going on another one this size in the future.

Great tour Tony! Thank you
I just saw this video. This one and its sister ship the legend are my 2 favorite ships. Been on them many times going out of Baltimore.
Will be going on first cruise in a week on the pride to bahamas thank you for this guide of the pride
What a beautiful older ship. Thanks for posting a ship that's going to the scrap yard soon. I have seen ships newer in the scrap yard.
Hi Tony! Thanks for all the videos from the 14 day cruise ! Has a great time and was glad to meet you! Michelle S 😊
Headed on the Pride for my 3rd time. This will be a history making moment. Great tour
I was on this 15day journey cruise and had a blast! I’d sail on her again. Great tour of the ship!
I sailed on Pride 10 years ago - and am booked to sail on her again in a few months - thanks for giving me this advance look on what I will find
Thank you for the wonderful preview, Tony! I am really looking forward to sailing on the Pride (hopefully) from Baltimore in September! I really appreciate the ship tour! Much love to you and Jenny!
Great tour Tony. You are a lucky guy to be able to make a living doing something so fun!
Went on the Carnival Pride back in May 2003 - always remember that trip!
Great tour, I feel relaxed just watching it. I have been on a sister ship to this one, so things looked familiar and different. NICE!
Great ship tour! I’ve been on the Carnival Miracle and this class of ships is just awesome! So much space and so many seating areas. I definitely need to try more ships in this class.
Thanks for the tour, we board Sunday for 7 days :)
Beautiful ship!!!I like the older ones just as much as the new ones, maybe more.
Garden is the same as the Jungle on the Spirit, good place to hunt ducks!
For the safes that require a card to slide, we bring 2 identical cards from our land based casino. Works great. 😁
It was so nice chatting with you on this cruise! We enjoyed Pride - some of the decor is a bit ummm provocative 😂
Thanks. We will be on the Firenze in May. Can't wait
We will be on the pride next sunday the 28th. Can't wait🎉
I love the older ships!!!
Reminds me alot like Carnival Spirit. Thanks for sharing.
I have sailed on the Pride a lot, even did a couple of back to back cruises. Yes its a little WELL! but still a good ship for my R&R vacations,
Mermaid towel! So cute
The ship it definitely a unique design clearly from another time in cruising. Ornate and in some ways beautiful but definitely on the gaudy side. Kind of like "old Vegas". Beautiful ship.
Thank You for the tour
Love the Pride Serenity area.
When you looked up at the whale tail back by the steak house it almost looked like it was smoking on the left side. 😆
Hey hey hey
I am glad you did the stateroom. Looks dated like the Legend. I will pass and fly to Miami for a newer cabin and no shower curtain.
I love the Sprit Class ships - thanks for the tour - we sailed the Pride in 2015 but I don't remember the Sunset Garden. We are hoping to sail on the Pride for the 14 day, Greenland/Canada sailing.
You should have shown the mermaids on the ceiling better. They are my favorite part of the ship!
Great tour!! I think we'll sail her when she's in Tampa.
Thanks for the your Tony, I actually prefer medium size cruise ships say a maximum passenger capacity of between 2000-4000
Would definitely love to sail on the pride
thank you for sharing 🥇
May I ask what room you are staying in on this trip? It looks RAD! 🤩
You sound like you are breathing so much better
Thank you for the tour❤
There are coin pushers in ship casinos? I might actually want to play that!
@TonyB - do you remember seeing any coin pushers on the Jubilee?
The room by the restaurant is the Captain Club Annex by Normanie Reatarant

Pink from the whale tail! That explains it!

The towel animal is the super rare mermaid the hallways are endless like the shining
Tony your bedside lamp didn’t have usb connections? Our cabin did.
Maybe it did. I sure didn’t notice.
Is it gaudy or is it opulent? Although I prefer the biggest ships because they have lots to do and see, I miss the opulence of the old ships.
Casino very smoky spread into coffee shop sometimes
Link for the charger? Thanks.
Here ya go - amzn.to/3JrDcVV
Can't wait!
OH NO! Don’t drink the water!!! 🤢 🤣
Its hammerhead shark on bed
I buy a hat the fun shops
It’s a stingray.
i saw the 🌩
Your Towel animal is a mermaid with long hair and a long tail.
I really like the older designs. It looks like this ship has been kept up very well.
I love the cruise companies that still do towel animals. It's a special touch.
Thanks for sharing.
My very first cruise was on the Ecstasy, just after I retired in 2021, and I done 3, and this video has me wanting to do this cruise 🛳!!
Noticed you are breathing much better after long walks and multiple stairs.
😊
We sailed on the Pride when it was only a couple years old. Your tour took me way back. It was great to see the look of that ship. That Renaissance thyme was wild. Loved that ship.
Thanks, Tony! You’re always awesome and relevant!

I agree. Older ships IMHO are going to be more and more appreciated.
Right, not a lover of the mega ships. Way too many people. We cruise for the ports & serenity of the ocean. Not interested in a theme park environment.
I agree. I prefer the smaller ships. I don’t have to be constantly entertained.

Yeah nightclub is very cool complete with 70s style light up dance floor steps are a bit rough in there after a few drinks lol
112 days and we will be sailing her for 1st time on her...I'M SO EXCITED!!!
Thank you for showing this! I’ll be on this ship in October and we’re renewing our vows on her next year, very excited 💜

My FAVORITE ship Tony.
I’ve sailed on Pride many times from Baltimore. I love that ship. You’re making me need to sail on her again!
Tremendous tour. Thanks so much 😂😅😊❤.
I love the Pride
Yes, it’s a small ship, but it’s beautiful and well laid out
