Yes, drawn combs are worth their weight in gold. My 60 hives started as 4 frame nuc a little over a year ago; in that time, they had drawn 4 boxes of comb. It has been a great season. Watergum & bloodwood flowering now & I'm still playing catchup. That Nuplas foundation nearly broke my heart. Great vid.
That’s great to get so much comb drawn out. I’ve probably doubled the amount of comb I had at the beginning of the season at a guess. I’d like to do some splits but I’m out of lids and bases. Probably should build some instead of watching the cricket 😆
Thanks for that. I tried it recently with a mated queen and it didn’t work. The queen was killed. For that reason I’ll mainly use this method with queen cells.

Looks like you are expanding your hive numbers. They are doing well, great to see!😊
Yes the bees at this site are doing well. I was expecting a bit of a dearth during the summer but the rain has been a great blessing
Hi from TURKEY Samsun
Take it easy
Hello!
I see bees flying.😁
Yes they are working hard while the conditions are good.
Why don't you heat some wax and paint some on the plastic frame? Some beekeepers encourage their bees to build foundation on them that way.
What is the round object in your brood box?

We call that the artificial swarm method here in the states. Works really well for me.
