      Hello! Thanks so much for watching! 🥰 All materials used are linked in the description and for the decor pieces (like the chanel pieces), I got them from a website called: jeniscabsanddiysupplies.com but I will link that as well.
      Thanks again for watching!! ❤

    Is it necessary to make the case surface rough before applying rhinestones?

    • @jeweledbyjazdiy

      Hey Angela!
      Nope! You can do this on any case! Hard or soft. Silicone is the only type of material I have issues with. It would require a different kind of glue but I haven't experimented with it just yet.

    I just found you !! Love your videos! I have a question. Where do you get the top needle you have on your E6000 tube? Do you have a site where I can buy some ? Thankyou in advance. And Yesss!! Protecting yourself at all times is so important!! I would hate for someone to get harmed when it could have been prevented.
      As for the e6000, I get these from Walmart! They have the best price for them and it comes with everything you need. The tips and a cap to close the glue when you're finished using it. They are in the crafting section and the beads sections of walmart. 😉

    I’m watching this after bringing my first case … what happens if I don’t sand the case? Thanks for such an informative vid

    • @jeweledbyjazdiy
      @jeweledbyjazdiy  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey!! You're welcome!! Thanks so much for watching!!
      As far as sanding goes, there could be a chance that the rhinestones will eventually peel off if the case isn't sanded first especially if it's that smooth shiny coated flexible case.
      If you use e6000 glue, you will get a pretty good hold but still run the risk of it peeling off.
      If you use glues like liquid fusion and fusion tack there's a huge chance it will come off without sanding.
      Hope this helps!! Thanks again for watching!! 🥰

      @MommySlays ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@jeweledbyjazdiy it helps a lot. Thank you for such a thorough response. I guess I need to grab some sandpaper for these projects. I use mainly E6000 but go through it quickly. I also use krysyal glaze glue

    • @jeweledbyjazdiy
      @jeweledbyjazdiy  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@shildapressley6362 no I haven't used epoxy. Might not be a bad idea for the half pearls since the coating could peel over time but I've never tried it before.

    You don't have any issues with the stones falling off of the silicone case?

    • @jeweledbyjazdiy
      @jeweledbyjazdiy  ปีที่แล้ว

      After sanding, no not at all. However, if you don't sand the top silicone layer off then yes, they will fall off.

    Do you still need to or recommend sanding hard cases?

    • @jeweledbyjazdiy
      @jeweledbyjazdiy  ปีที่แล้ว

      I do recommend sanding for those as well. However if you use e6000 glue or epoxy to adhere the stones then you won't need to sand. If using any other glues, I do recommend sanding.

  • @MA-rn2xp
    @MA-rn2xp 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    What's the purpose of sanding I'm very curious

    • @jeweledbyjazdiy
      @jeweledbyjazdiy  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It allows the glue to adhere better to the case. The phone cases have a very smooth texture and when using liquid fusion or fusion tack on this texture, it could end up peeling off.
      E6000 would work just fine without sanding but sanding is the safest.
      Using a piece of sand paper also works very well.

    Where do you get the tip part to your glue or what is it called?

    • @jeweledbyjazdiy
      @jeweledbyjazdiy  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      They come with the glue.. it is the e6000 with precision tips. I usually get mine from Walmart in the crafting section. Sometimes they are next to the beads and sometimes next to the wall mounting putty.
