Here's the solution to the lack of the RSS option. Next to "my alerts" there's a cog (settings) - in that dialogue box you will find "time of delivery" and "digest". Untick digest and that will enable RSS feed to be displayed. Took some time to figure this out , but success was at hand ... WOO HOO 🐼
Christine F. Abela I get an error saying no feed url set. and when I tried to copy the rss feed link into Google and Firefox browser I get an error saying this xlm file dies jitters have any style information. is this video still valid? I watched this 4 times already and followed all instructions also watched your followup video
I'm not sure about the xml file not having any style information. Have you seen the other video th-cam.com/video/n5LA_nJIIyk/w-d-xo.html ? Maybe that will help.
I have an option for rss feed but no link shows up on the page. If I click on the rss sign a new window opens with the following message and then html underneath it. This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.
+Ameer Basha Thanks Ameer, it does indeed work in Firefox. If I paste this rss feed into a webpage and people look at that in other browsers is the feed going to work or not? Do you know? Thanks
+HyderabadCity Online.iN Strange. I tried it just now and it is still appearing for me. I will make a video to show you what I am seeing, and then you can tell me how yours is different.
If people have already setup an email alert, the RSS symbol will not display. All people need to do is click the edit button on their alert, change the deliver option at the bottom to RSS and click the update alert button. The RSS symbol will then appear against the alert.
+HyderabadCity Online.iN I don't know. I am on Firefox. I can see the settings button in my Chrome browser. Perhaps you could search in the TH-cam forums. If you find an answer, let us know!
i see that copying RSS link to browser works everywhere but chrome. i'm required to use chrome for everything, is there any way around this without using another browser or is there any plugin/syndication/hack will enable ? @christine
