Sicilian Mafia had been around since the 1880s and no adaptations ever been made (except in the beginning of Godfther 2) of the origin in Sicily. I'd take this rather than the 70s-80s Vegas or modern-day NYC/New Jersey with all the Joeys & Paulies gabagool flick.

The cigarette card in Mafia DE was a mobster from “Los Ondas” (Los Angeles) named Louie Romeo. He could be the Jack Dragna/Bugsy Siegel of the west coast & that would be lovely to play. An open world & we get to build, buy, & operate casinos, extortion on Hollywood labor unions, etc.
