Please don't use gasoline as a degreaser agent I know a guy who just lost his work space, house , RV , boat , wife's car , his car doing the same when he dropped a tool on the concrete the fire department assumed

You never mentioned the need for soaking the rear seal in oil. The seals are ment to be soaked in oil for a period of time.
Great point, thanks for sharing. We did not soak in oil, but lightly smeared some oil prior to applying (similar to a car oil filter)
