  • NMSVE is a tiny Bluetooth MIDI controller 👀🤏
You can integrate it into your existing setup with a host device (iPad, Mac, Android, Windows 10) for wireless midi triggering/FX control… or use it on its own through mobile software for on the go beat making 🎶🎛
This video includes clips from some of our favourite artists using NMSVE in a variety of different ways.
Artists included in this video (check them out!!):

I recently purchased one of these, and I love using it with Koala Sampler on a cell phone. It's just cool to have a tiny beat lab in my pocket.
I definitely do have a complaint with the first half of this video though. None of those electronic instruments have Bluetooth, and the video was shot to make it seem like the NMSVE was controlling them with out anything else. All computers were kept out of the cameras sight which feels kinda deceptive.
Just so no one feels tricked let me tell any possible readers, in order to play traditional electronics synths and drum machines you will have to have some kind of DAW which will take more devices than is being shown here and will add more latency to the performance. If you are planning on doing more than hooking this to a smart phone you might want to make sure you understand what you are getting and how it takes more than what is portrayed here.
If only it could connect with USB MIDI too, that would have made this device 10x cooler than it already is.
With all that being said, I love this thing for what I have found it to be good for, controlling a smart phone.

Hey there! We're glad to hear you're enjoying our product so far :)
In terms of the videos content, we apologize if it came across as deceptive in any way. All of the videos within the first half of the video are from our community using the device (see their usernames in the corners), unfortunately none of these videos show the device off screen Noise Machine and their hardware needs to be connected to for the setup to function (i.e. iPad, iPhone, Mac, PC, WIDI Jack etc...).
We always envisioned Noise Machine being used more on its own with a device (like how you use it with your cell phone for a "tiny beat lab") but found that a lot of our customers were actually using it with hardware, which is the main goal we were going for with this video.
There's a lot more information about the device on our website (thisisnoiseinc.com/) that explains what exactly you need to use our product, with a heavy focus on stating that it is a bluetooth MIDI Controller. Regardless, your feedback is important, so for future videos we will push this fact even further, trying to get all devices required in the shots we take.
Again, we apologize to anyone who may feel deceived, as this is not the result we want from this video.
If anyone has any questions feel free to continue this thread or shoot us an email at: info@thisisnoiseinc.com

How does it work? Ableton recognize it without any previous software instalation? Just turn macbook bluetooth on and the DAW receives the midi?

We have some quick start guides on our website to show you the different ways it connects to different platforms:

Mac is quite easy to connect to, only a few steps needed to connect to Ableton :)

How is it connected tho Pocket Operators?

    • @thisisNOISEinc
      @thisisNOISEinc  2 ปีที่แล้ว

There's a few different setups going on in the video above, however generally you connect your PO(s) line out to a host device (i.e. iPad, mobile device, Mac) and then use software like AUM or Ableton to route and connect all your hardware to NMSVE via bluetooth. If you'd like a more detailed explanation please feel free to DM us over on Insta or Facebook :) (linked in the caption above).

@@thisisNOISEinc I had the same question. So just to clarify then, it’s not actually controlling the PO. It’s controlling the software on whatever you connect the PO to, correct?

@@caseyrycenga2864 You got it! NMSVE controls whatever output the PO(s) send to the host device :)
