    Zip Ties + Duct Tape = Proper mechanic skills. I'm not sure I could install that stuff and not at least ride it up and down my driveway! You have patience!

      Yeah. I want to ride it! They use zip ties and duct tape on million dollars race vehicles. I figured I would get in on that!

      Thanks for the comment! This video started at almost two hours long. I cut an trimed as much as possible while trying to keep it organized and to the point. Also a few tips that would help someone if needed. Again thank you for the comment and support!

      Thanks man! It's a good bike to have. I have had a lot of fun with it. Last week I took it to the drag strip to see how much faster it was after the mods. my personal best is 11.22 @ 124.46 vs Las year all stock at 11.89 @ 121.42mph

      That's sick dude! Hey let me ask you, why did you pick the Annitori instead of Bazzaz and PCV? Do you have it flashed or something?

    • @PistonSlap
      @PistonSlap  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Chris Chen the Annitori is a stand alone system that cost around d 275 at the time. plus if you want you can up shift or down shit w/o the clutch. they did tell me on the down shift you could damage the trans if not done properly or wreck the bike. Another great feature is that if you get a different bike down the road. All you have to do is get the correct shift rod and jumper harness (about 50.00) I found out after I had purchased the annitori the flash tune has. A setting they can program into the ecu for a quick shifter but it is not adjustable for kill times or sensitivity. Also only works in the up gear change.

    Thanks for the vid man, great content.
    Just purchased the same for mine, '13 636 as well.
    Annitori says to get the 115mm shift rod for the '09+ zx6r's, is that the same length yours is?

    I have the same system and I get multiple false singals. and my bike goes crazy. I am very disappointed I don't know what to do. I do they connected the positive cable directly to the battery.

    • @PistonSlap
      @PistonSlap  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you are getting a false signal when riding there may be a few things to check. you might already done this but here's what I got. The shift linkage bound up. When you tighten it down the rose joint o one end it twisted all the way one direction and the rose joint on the other side is twisted the opposite way.
      The linkage is way loose triggering the kill
      the sensitivity it set to sensitive and triggers with vibration or bumps
      you may be bumping the shift rod with your boot?
      loose connection someware? I don't know what bike you have but hopefully one of these things help. Also the guys over at annitori are very helpful as long as you are nice to them :) . my friend emailed them saying they sold him a faulty product and it didn't go over so well. Keep a open mind when talking with them, it goes a long way. Again hope this helps.

    • @beeweezee71888
      @beeweezee71888 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Piston Slap Okay I will check that out. I will tighten the rose joint firmly in both directions. I have 2013 Ninja 636 and I recall hitting a bump and the bike went insane multiple false signals. Then the QS stop working and started working after 6 mins wierd. I have my sensitivity to 55. I will lower it because I mainly use my bike for commute to work. This false singal scares the crap out of me lol.
      Thanks for advice have you experience something similar?

    • @PistonSlap
      @PistonSlap  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +beeweezee718 I have rested my boot on the shit rod once and bumped the shifter itself enough to kill the ignition but not shift a gear. other than that nothing. I commute with mine and don't use the qs for that but the track and canyons I do.

    This is pretty much the same install for a ninja 400 correct?

    • @PistonSlap

      There might be one ;)

    • @TheSoulMan11

      +Piston Slap I had to go all the way to autozone to remove that top servo screw so, heads up lol, its a tamper proof screw bit.

    • @PistonSlap
      @PistonSlap  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Shift-Light yep. I got all that stuff. Thanks for the heads up!

    • @PistonSlap
      @PistonSlap  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Shift-Light I removed my exhaust this weekend and ended up just loosening the cables and removed in them. Overall I took the whole servo out. I'm getting the ECU flashed in a few weeks so the ECU will ignore the servo and clean air valves I removed. Again thanks for the tip on the torques bit.

    • @TheSoulMan11
      @TheSoulMan11 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Piston Slap yeah no problem, most people get the servo buddy, I just kept the servo in.

    With this QS, can you do clutchless downshift as well?
    Is it any bad for the bike if you use smog block off plates with stock exhaust?

    • @PistonSlap
      @PistonSlap  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can do the clutch less down shift. but you do it at your own risk. From what I gather the pro racers do it but they usually have a factory backing them to pay for transmission damage if any were to occur. The down shift option on this kit is not like the auto bliper on the BMW S1000rr or other bikes that rev match and down shift seamlessly. I'm going to use mine as more of a stress relief on the transmission along with the clutch. Hope that part helped. As for the smog plates all it does is eliminate the clean are valves. supposedly there is a popping type noise when you install a after market exhaust system and by installing these plates and a tune to turn off the valve and check engine light the popping noise would be reduced or eliminated.

    I think Im going with this QS. Dynojet is a load of shit. Nothing is in 1 packgage. You have to by the sensor here, wires there, a module there. Then you HAVE to buy a power Commander so the total cost came to $700+ when all I wanted was a quick shifter.

    • @PistonSlap
      @PistonSlap  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      This system worked great.

      Piston Slap yeah I saw. I literally just ordered one as I was watching and the system was about 240 vs paying $500+ with other companies. Definitely liking and subbing this saved me a ton of money.
