I was shocked that the dogs were still alive with teeth on that diet, but the bird still being alive under so much stress on top of the conditions of the cage was even more of a surprise.
Poor bird has to listen to all that damn barking and stuck in tiny cage by itself. Social birds like this budgie do better with their own kind it gets zero attention I'm sure , and can't even fly and no toys ? Budgies love toys, she's an awful bird and dog owner.
+Shenice Says-I hate people that turn their kids and their dogs into spoiled, rotten individuals. If you have a spoiled brat, be it a child or a dog, it's always completely on you. You are the one that encourages them and make them that way in the first place. And spoiled children/dogs all stem from a lack of structure (not necessarily discipline but it can be) and a lack of an actual parent figure. Spoiled children have parents that just want to be their best friends aka do whatever the child wants and gives them whatever their heart desires. It's not too different from spoiled dogs-overindulging them with human treats (something that is beyond gross and excessive), giving them sugar tea when they bark and DEMAND it, letting them climb around and compete for your affection is pretty gross. Spoiled children/dogs are unpleasant to be around and they make your life a living hell. Add six spoiled dogs in the mix, it's no worry the poor husband and son were fed up, especially when the woman clearly prioritizes the dogs over both of them and treats the dogs more as her children than her actual child. The poor guy is very sweet and remarkably well adjusted, he is just heartbroken that he has no relationship with his own mother. Because she never allows him to have a relationship with her when the dogs are involved. She has no relationship with her husband and son, and yet, she's dumbstruck over why they so cold and distant to her, when she's made it clear that her spoiled "babies" come before either of them. She probably did tell them to their face that she would rather have them leave than get rid of the dogs. It's playing favorites to an extreme and since this woman doesn't respect her husband and son, the dogs don't either. They do pick up on that. Spoiled children/dogs do realize when they are the favorite and they know to use it. You should never allow children/dogs to get to the point where they are that spoiled and rotten. That's on YOU, as a parent and an owner. It doesn't mean you have to be a military commander. You should always love your babies. But you have to take charge and be a parent/dog owner. And the child/dog will be far happier too for it.
Can we bring up the fact that this woman also owns a bird? Who takes care of the bird? More importantly the amount of anxiety that poor bird must have because of all the barking.
Also, that cage is so so so small. I'm not a bird expert, but every bird I've ever seen has a bigger cage. I think she may be using a decorative one...
@Ashley Lake On behalf of America, no thanks, gonna pass on this one, we have enough trouble on our own, maybe Canada would be nice enough to take her.
I know. In my honest opinion, this woman shouldn't have dogs or animals at all. I can't believe she was giving these dogs human foods but was ignoring her son at the same time.
This is a very clear example of why people benefit from going to therapy every now and then. This woman is clearly using these dogs to cover something far more personal. It is sad to see animals suffer for owners inability to work with themselves.
She just abuses every living thing in that home through sheer neglect, she shouldn't be married or have a child or have pets if she isn't interested in having a positive relationship with others
It’s nice that Victoria understood why Shawn didn’t want to get involved with the dogs. His mom even just dismissed the situation as him not being a dog person but Victoria understood the reason behind it and worked with him. Yes, getting involved with the dogs is important, but her instruction came from a place of understanding.
Defo so sad. My daughter is 12 and she doesn't wanna hug much anymore but u can bet when she let's me hug her everything in the world can wait coz I'm hugging her till she's had enough. So sad poor lad
Omg I can’t believe she said she would rather get rid of her son and husband than the dogs!!! What a selfish woman!!! I love how Victoria stuck it to her and told her the reality of what could happen if her neighbours put in too many complaints.
Tbh, I think the husband and son should just bounce, and take the budgie with them. Then the neighbors SHOULD complain enough to have some of these dogs rehomed.
Marvellous Mary! I wonder if she even cleans the cage, she spoils her dogs and pays more attention to them, I have budgies the same as those birds and I feel horrible 💔💔😭
Poor bird, poor son, poor dogs. Son and bird both being neglected and this lady filling these dogs stomach with foods and snacks they should not be eating at all. That's a future with dogs and a bird dying earlier than intended and a son who wants nothing to do with her.
Exactly !! I have a black Labrador and she needs at least and hours walk a day, she doesn’t cope well in hot weather so we take her out in the morning before the weather peaks or later on in the evening !!
Jade Leicester My westie Buddy doesn’t cope in the heat either so I walk him earlier in the morning later in the evening. Sadly due to epilepsy I can’t yet take him for long walks.
I have a Border Collie and a Bluetick Coonhound. My Border Collie has long fur and where we live it is generally hot all year round. They are walked to the beach twice a day where they can swim, once in the early morning and again later in the evening. It doesn't matter what kind or how many dogs you have, they need to be walked and exercised. PERIOD
I walk my dog an hour a day but this summer I'm gonna try for more hours. I'm gonna be buying my dog a cooling vest (it simulates sweating cause dogs only sweat on their feet), and dog shoes/booties to protect his feet from any hot cement. I will walk him in the early morning and late evenings but around noon I'm gonna suit him up an walk about an hour or so. Either way it is possible to walk them in the heat but it requires you save up a some money to get the products.
Come here and visit before you judge. It's getting very hot in the summer months surprisingly. Even when it says around 22-25 degrees celsius it actually feels like 30.
@@happytrouble5561 I know it does, I'm just fooling around :D. I hope you come to enjoy the hotter temperatures!! My native of Texas can reach up to 40 Celsius, and it can feel way hotter than that. Remember to keep hydrated, wear sunblock, and have fun~

StrawberryNinja Nibbles my own budgie has full run of the house. She doesn’t stray far from her cage but if she wanted to she could. She likes to hang out with the finches though. I can’t even imagine that poor little one all by itself like that. I don’t even like that we don’t have another budgie, but she is content being by the finches. She tried to make friends with our green cheek but he is scared of her.
Simone Bass I’m aware, which is why she is by them and not with them. She leaves them alone and minds her own business. Just enjoys the company. Other birds scare her too much for her to get too close to any. I can’t exactly convince my parents to get another bird since none of them are actually mine.
Simone Bass she’s a timid girl and has been since rescuing her. Not sure what kind of life she had before us but we do know she was kept in a tiny cage smaller than the one in the video at all times and never interacted with. She sings and chips back and forth with them and skittles every so often. Been trying to convince mom to get a second. She wants to as well. Dad probably won’t be okay with it. Maybe when I’m out she will, especially since the finches are all getting to their senior years and won’t be around much longer.
This is/was soooo messed up! Here‘s why: 1. Why having 6 dogs when you can‘t control them? 2. THAT POOR BIRD!! 3. I think It‘s just unacceptable that the son just kinda got pushed and replaced by the dogs.. 4. She didn’t go to walks with them before? Same question again, why having 6 dogs then? 5. WHY GIVE THEM SO MUCH SUGAR?! 6. Why asking for help and then not gonna do what she said? Okay I‘m really getting upset, byeee 👋🏻
I am glad Victoria didn't let her go or make it about the woman's feelings when she went into the shelter. She gave hard love but she also made the dogs the priority over the owner's sensitive feelings.
Except for my dogs lol I have a paddock that was for cows but i use it for my dogs and i made little jumps and other obstacles for them. By the time they go inside they are about ready to collapse
My dog doesn't like to go for a walk. Once we're outside she seems to enjoy it but her favorite part is heading home. She goes nuts when we come back inside, like she thought I was trying to run away with her or something.
I think they deserve better homes with owners who actually care about their well being, at least 2 of those dogs should have been rehomed... I just honestly felt heartbroken for them and it seriously angered me
The son looks so depressed and I don't blame him, I can't imagine how painful it must be to have your mum care more about dogs (all while mistreating them too) than you
Where the name comes from is not deciding if its the dog's fault or the owner's. The name comes from either re-homing/putting down the dog and keeping the relationship with your bf/gf/mom/dad ect. Or breaking up with your beloved/moving out of the house so you can potentially keep the dog
I mean, I know people that make Ice for them... FOR THEM with Stuff FOR THEM. Its actally pretty nice for the Dogs in Summer. One should certainly not feed them Human Sugarwater -_-'
Calhaora Lightsbane I feed my dog ice cream for dogs but never ever real human ice cream and i give him ice cubes when he’s hot. I can’t believe this woman
Her dogs are extremely likely to have gotten diabetes. That’s a slow unpleasant way to go even if you chose to give your dogs insulin shots to extend their life. Dogs should never have sugar ☹️
This woman is unwell. Ive seen women like this when I used to live in the UK. I think she knows she does not care of her dogs properly. She doesn't care. Its all about how these dogs meet her EMOTIONAL NEEDS
@Luc "It's not her fault"? You have to be joking!? It is ABSOLUTELY her fault to not walk her dogs. To not feed them crap. To not train them. To not kennel them so close to eachother. To neglect her family! No kennel club or trainer will tell her to do any of these things. You ARE making excuses for her. The truth hurts sometimes, and ignorance does not excuse being irresponsible.
Crates arn't automatically bad, but only if they have enough space, it's comfortable and isn't for four hours. Those crates are way too small, for any dog. But did you see? She had two of them in one of those tiny cages, one of those is hardly big enough for one dog.
Crates can be a good thing. One of my dogs used to go to her crate if she wanted time alone and enjoyed staying in there for hours at a time to sleep(on her own, door open. She was able to get out if she wanted to.) She also knew that if she got in trouble, go to your crate and wait. We rarely ever had to actually lock her in.
Instead of locking them in the crates, put them out in the yard. Oh wait---they bark too much for that. We put our dogs outside all day. They have water, dry food, a doghouse to go into if it rains, and plenty of shade when it's sunny. They're not barkers though, and we only have 2 dogs.
Hi, I just wanted to let you know that rhe use of "then" in this sentence is wrong. "THEN" has to do with the aspect of time. You should be using "THAN" bc "THAN" is used for comparing or contrast or something like that. Ex: I went to the shops, THEN I went home. Ex: I prefer sweets such as cakes, rather THAN candies. I hope this helps! As I'm aware a lot of folks' first language is not English and the English language can be quite difficult or confusing at times!

A lonely and neglected woman fills the void in her life with the affection, joy and excitement of six dogs. They also effectively distance and punish her husband and son. That’s where all this dysfunction begins. She’s replaced her human family with a canine family because she is the center of their world. She parrots those lines at the end because it’s expected and it gets the trainer off her back. Problem not solved...
Karen strikes me as the type to have had a child for the “cute baby and innocent” type to care for, and once Sean grew up, she lost interest. The dogs (and birb) are a (terrible) attempt for her to feel like a caregiver to those who will always depend on her. Perpetual, unrestricted love is addictive for those with lower self esteem. Good on Karen for recognizing she had problems with family and pet ownership responsibilities.
Teddy Pom-Pom's owner in a different episode is like this but somehow even worse. She admitted she hated it that the kids didn't want to cuddle with her anymore and got weirdly aggressive with her husband when challenged over her spoiling her terror dog. Too many women make children and being a care giver their whole personality and do not adjust well when their children gain increasing independence from them. That's how helicopter parents and boy mommies happen.
That poor budgie in the background... No room to fly around, no toys, the constant noise from the dogs and being socially neglected. That budgie wont live a very long or happy life. Got two budgies of my own and they do not have the depressed look that this budgie has.. You can literally hear in it's chirps that it wants attention.
The thing to be most upset about is the woman’s treatment of other people! She is lucky her husband and son are such patient people and don’t abandon her to her hoarding or just call the humane society and have them rightfully seized. And not to mention the poor neighbors. She’s doting on those dogs, but neglecting all the humans around her who were there first, shame on you.
It makes me so angry that the very thought of her not giving the dogs enough love brings her to tears, but Victoria telling her that her son feels like he comes in last and feels left out doesn’t even make her flinch...
Many people see dogs as their children, and they are children to those people, but your human children should always come before pets, if you can't handle doing that, then don't get a pet at all
Obviously, the mother sure is in need of some help mentally and emotionally, but I'm actually glad that she finally opened her eyes at the end and now take better care of her dogs and can see the benefits of it like being able to have time with her husband and son. That was nice.
barry morris A dog doesn't necessarily need to be walked it just needs exercise and mental stimulation, if you have a big yard or your dog is a working dog you don't really have to walk them.
Walks are helpful to learn leash manners, but as long as they’re mentally and physically exercised than they’re happy dogs ☺️ my 5 month old puppy has an acre to run and play fetch. But he’s a Standard poodle so we do a LOT of mental stimulation!
@@maxine9492 I thought that too but it's in their nature to walk and inspect their "territory". If they rarely leave the house/garden they can develop behavioural problems, in particular, dog aggressive or guarding behaviour of the owner

@@icesswolvescats404 I think that cages are fine as long as they're large and have tons of stuff to enrich the birb. However, time to roam is oh so important as well!

She thinks it’s cruel not letting dogs on the sofa yet she locks them in crates for four hrs?? Go figure

Especially when she started to break down when she was training the dogs to stay off of her sitting down.. like she was addicted to it
Crazy how well you summed up my exact thoughts
Speaking of parrots, have you seen the bird? That bird did not look good.
C4sandvitch parakeet, but I absolutely agree
I really don't think she's the one being neglected.
Shane Harper she shed more tears for her dogs than she did for her child. She’s selfish & self-centered.
Shane Harper the husband yeah but the son by my opinion no he sounds done and wants to leave
Use your heart and brain!

That poor budgie
I’m so glad you noticed too
First thing I noticed when watching. I have four birds and all have much more space
I thought my puppy was spoilt by him having lots of cuddles and good food but wow, this lady is over the top
She is not spoiling her dogs. She is hurting them,by feeding them absolut garbage.
On top of it, ahe doesn't walk them.
It's cruel!
@@whitexchina She is spoiling them but to the point of hurting them
It makes me so angry that the very thought of her not giving the dogs enough love brings her to tears, but Victoria telling her that her son feels like he comes in last and feels left out doesn’t even make her flinch...
that is not even love though. She is slowly poisoning them with that awful diet.
Her son: mum can I an ice-cream
Her: no but give the dog somes
Her son:😑
😂
Google Demonetization The attention should be equal between her 7 children.
Many people see dogs as their children, and they are children to those people, but your human children should always come before pets, if you can't handle doing that, then don't get a pet at all
I love Victoria's analysis of the dog's personalities lol
Me to
Obviously, the mother sure is in need of some help mentally and emotionally, but I'm actually glad that she finally opened her eyes at the end and now take better care of her dogs and can see the benefits of it like being able to have time with her husband and son. That was nice.
the most basic of basics for a dog owner is walking your dog
barry morris A dog doesn't necessarily need to be walked it just needs exercise and mental stimulation, if you have a big yard or your dog is a working dog you don't really have to walk them.
Walks are helpful to learn leash manners, but as long as they’re mentally and physically exercised than they’re happy dogs ☺️ my 5 month old puppy has an acre to run and play fetch. But he’s a Standard poodle so we do a LOT of mental stimulation!
Totally AGREE about the walking and learning manners
@@maxine9492 I thought that too but it's in their nature to walk and inspect their "territory". If they rarely leave the house/garden they can develop behavioural problems, in particular, dog aggressive or guarding behaviour of the owner
@@Lisa-ih7fk Yeah I mean but they don't have to leave their territory to inspect it lol, obviously you need to walk them sometimes but daily walks are technically not necessary.
The barking is sending me mad. How did these people live like this.
Travybabe I KNOW RIGHT I training at a Animal Hospital Adaptation Center and it HURTS MY HEARS SHEESH
Dude I yell at my puppy for barking cause it literally pieces my ears inside the house this would literally make you lose you hearing.. and mind 😂
Ardit Rizvanolli does it work yelling? Mine works.... as soon as I said shut up, my little cooper does shut up
Those poor neighbors are saints for putting up with that. Not only the barking, but can you imagine what that back yard must smell like?
I couldn’t sleep with that barking.
Her poor son, if I was him, I would probably give up on living at home & go stay at a friends place
Fleefer Neef sadly I think that’s true 😳
SHE IS ABSOLUTELY bonkers!! Educate her about dogs, ignorant @ best. What became of all 6 dogs?,then.
@@fleeferneef7497 Well, she did say she'd rather give up her son and husband instead of the dogs...
The mum reminds me of my nan. She said she prefers her dog to every single person in my family. Honestly it's really upsetting. Even if dogs a ee still important, the feeling of a family member choosing something that barely can communicate over you hurts.
@@toadmother2426 usually people like that had something happen in their life that makes them distrust others even their own family.
Even her budgie is all alone in a tiny cage, and you know it isn't receiving free-flying time either

Poor bird must be stressed with all the barking
I bet no one takes care of it well!
Birds are hard to take care of too!! UGH
AquaSpyHammy instead of it's me or the dog it's me or the bird
Birds shouldn't be in cages in the first place. Birds should be flying around and being free instead being in cages
Wolfey :3 YAAAA
IcessWolvesCats I agree, I have a budgie! He flies around freely
@@icesswolvescats404 I think that cages are fine as long as they're large and have tons of stuff to enrich the birb. However, time to roam is oh so important as well! I can't say I'm a professional, or have experience... Though it's probably good to have a specific "hub" that the bird is highly familiar with and can very safely rest in. Also pretty necessary if you have roaming pets like cats or dogs.
I FEEL SO BAD FOR THAT POOR BUDGIE IN A SMALL ROUND CAGE WITH NO TOYS IT MAKES ME CRY! NO FRUITS AND NO VEGGUES NIT A CLEAN CAGE SAAAD TAKE YER PETS AWAY
I would take the bird away
Yeah
If I was Animal control I would take the dogs and bird away to a good home then while I’m at it I would take the Son and Husband away too into a good home with no neglecting mom

I'm all up for giving a dog a small treat, but something suitable for the animal.
I give my horse treats in the form of fruit like pineapple or peaches.
My cats get treats like chicken or beef.
The dog also gets chicken or beef, once a week only.
Sugar is soooooo bad for dogs. How disgusting. Such deplorable dogmanship.
Lindsey Mathis right? The closest thing my dogs get to sugar is the treats
Most kibble 50% sugar
@@shanebastarache6821 this is true. That's why I believe in raw or high quality canned dog food no added sugar

@@tanglelover I only give raw food. Dried treats if I want to give them something special. A dried bone or a cow's ear. Once in a while I might let them lick the yogurt when I'm done but that's it. They don't need human food, it's bad enough that we eat it...
When Karen said
Oh the dogs sound like they don’t want to go outside, so I won’t take them.

Can barely take care of a bird
But has 6 dogs 😑

I love this trainer. I love how she rewards instead of punishes. Perfect, amazing, great techniques, very addictive show!
Max Covfefe she does punishes sometimes, but she doesn’t make them harsh unlike some owners.
I’m more worried about the little parakeet sitting by itself in that cage
Me too. I wrote to them to ask if someone could check up on it.
