What is the reason for the bursts? Are you combining the shots in post to get a wider dynamic range or is it just a way to get similar shots and pick the best one?
Well, that has a charm of its own - I’m not really interested in doing SP in my own hometown, so I like going out to different cities to see something new
I hate that high speed 'machine gun' style of photography in the hope you have a good picture in there somewhere.....what happened to 'the decisive moment'! 🤔
@@steven2809 ofc u can try to hope for the perfect moment in single shot mode, but even with lots of practice you will miss the best alignment of moving subjects and body parts quite often..
thanks! ah dang, can’t remember at all - my iso varies a lot, sometimes it’s 800 other times it’s 2000 all depending on how much I know I can lift the exposure in the edit
Interesting approach to street photography, while the popular choice appears to be 35mm you seem to use longer focal lengths. Refreshing to see clutter free, well composed images.
I actually find it easier to take photos of people in Denmark than Sweden. I'm from Sweden I feel uncomfortable to take photos of people here but in Denmark I met people who even smiled when they caught me. I tried not to take close up on their face just so I wouldn't get into trouble. BTW you take good photos!
Oh that’s interesting- I haven’t actually been in Sweden doing street photo, so I can’t really compare haha But you can pretty much get away with everything here as long as you take photos in public spaces And thanks!! It means a lot
@@nhfoodrecipes8600 Im glad to hear that! Can’t wait to see what you create - if you do wanna share it, then shoot me a message on Instagram so I can see you stuff😄
So I dont know if you're Danish but I have this problem that I really want to do street photography but Denmark has these really strict rules about posting pictures of people on the streets. We can get in big trouble if someone finds an image of themselves on the internet and wants it to be taken down. It makes it almost impossible to do street photography in Denmark sadly 😥
Hey mate! So as long as a person can't be directly identified (as per a portrait), it isn't illegal in public spaces. On the other hand if they say a photo of them, and want it taken down, there is nothing more in that - If you wanna do street portraits, just walk up to people and ask, the worst thing they can say is no (I'm danish btw)
I was kinda also a bit concerned about that but later I found out that in the EU it is not illegal to photograph people in public spaces. It gets more complex if you publish your work as commercial but for hobbyists, this shouldn't be a problem. I am a bit more worried about the social behaviour of Danes around it. Is it generally acceptable in society? I would ALWAYS delete the picture if the person in the picture ask me to but is it still considered appropriate to photograph people on the street without permission in a social context? What about children?

Tak for dit hurtige svar.

Since a lot of my subjects are moving around, it's to make sure that a have a few different photos to choose from
every time i watch street photography videos i feel like my hometown is stuck in middle ages

Very nice photos and compositions, but why do you use multiple frames high speed shooting?
Thanks!
It’s just a personal preference :)

thanks!

Yeah! I’m a keen user of 50mm and 35mm, but since my camera is a crop sensor it’s more like 50mm and 72mm~ish
Love your work. Thanks for sharing
Thanks man!
Kopenhagen got a cool looking train/tram station!
Yeah it really has!
The Metro is relatively new. It's driverless which makes it even cooler. 🙂

Great video. I'm wanting to get into this and its interesting to see the perspective and finished photo. What program do you use for editing?
Thanks! Glad you liked it
I use a combination of Adobe CC Lightroom and Photoshop, but it's different from photo to photo

What Camera ?
What Sensor ?
Прикольно получается. По возможности опишите своё оборудование и настройки. Спасибо.

@@MrPotor thanks
I’m using a Sony alpha6300 with a 50mm 1.8 lens
The setting varies from photo to photo, since I shoot in manual mode
What is the camera in use ?
a sony a6300
Very nice.
What lens are you using?
I'm using the Sony E-mount 50mm 1.8, but since my Sony a6300 is a crop sensor it's equivalent to a 85mm lens :)
Very nice!
Hvilket glas bruger du her
Jeg bruger en 50mm f/1.8 på min crop sensor - hvilket er tilsvarende til omkring 72mm
