Well I got the melody from a previous song I made back in 2022 and spiced up the rhythm. Then I added some chopped up chords with a bass line that goes all over the place. I know this probably doesn’t explain much but it’s the best I can do. I’m horrible at explaining things.

I know some music theory and I've been doing guitar bass guitar vocals etc. for a while, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the sound I want out of these.
@@scoutbane1651 I used a vst called Serum. It’s $189. I just used a stock preset called “Mario” for the waveform. I also used a plugin called OTT which is a multi-band compressor. It’s free. Thats all I used.

its easier to look at if you split it up into 3 parts horizontally with the top melody, middle chords, and bottom bass just gotta give it some rhythm
