Bless you 🙏🏼🕊️ We need to ask for our ‘daily bread’ and ‘put on’ the armour of God for spiritual warfare. We are blessed having the promises of salvation for all who ‘follow him’ and ‘keep’ his commandments. That means we can lose our way and the parable of the seed falling on stony ground and the ground that takes no deep root for the cares of this world ruin our faithfulness. Also it says we can have faith that moves mountains, pray and fast, give to poor, even offer our bodies for our faith to be burned yet…… if we have not LOVE, to which is the highest commandment, we are but clanging cymbals making lots of noise and opinions but are empty. The greatest of faith hope and love is to LOVE. We still have to follow the two greatest commandments. And ‘renew’ our minds daily. Dying to self. 🙏🏼🕊️ Thank you for encouraging all. We are to build one another up not tear each other down. Jesus is praised and glorified by doing these things.

@@TheElizabethashby LOL! Putting your comment in all caps won't make it true lol. No work is involved in salvation being offered to you, BUT you better believe that "work" is involved in holding on to it. Whether you (or I!) like it or not, "enduring till the end" is a requirement, not just resting on the fact that we prayed a prayer one day. In order for the scripture to talk about "falling away", you would have to FIRST have something to "fall away" from, do you not agree? I hope this makes sense and helps.

@@terrillclark6486 My thought is when is the moment that God applies the seal? I don't think that is when we pray a sinners prayer or something like that. God is outside of time, he knows exactly how, when, and what state we will pass away at in the future. It's not that the seal is given and taken away, it is only given once, and there are those who never got it because God knows their future.
Long story short, we can lose our faith from our perspective, and in that case, I don't think that person was ever truly and officially sealed because God foresaw that happening because he knows hearts down to every cell.
So both views are essentially right, we are sealed forever (once it is actually applied) and from our point of view, we can lose faith and become lost again. It is truly the only way to understand the seed parable as far as I see it.
I can't imagine turning from Jesus at this point, it's not even an option for me to consider anymore. I think someone who truly has that heart conversion and born again, they will never walk away from it. There will be many that say all the right words but it never happened to them, they never got sealed.

@whistlep4494 the gospel is what saves and there is only one gospel and that is the faith in the Jesus and his redemptive work on the cross and rising again. If you think, you're saved because YOU forgave someone, then you believe in another gospel that doesn't save. That verse you mentioned about God not forgiving if you don't forgive isn't about salvation but one being held accountable during their earthly.
You're not a child of God because you forgive people, you are a child of God because you believe in His only begotten Son.
Now if you don't forgive others, you're not BEHAVING like a child of God and at that point you're being a disobedient child but you're STILL a child because of JESUS....NOT YOU.
To the question about going to church, those who are born again have been giving a new heart and have the Holy Spirit and want to please God. Does this mean they will be perfect in their walk and never have battles or struggles to face? Absolutely not. The flesh and spirit are at odds with one another.
Understanding the difference between HOW to be saved and HOW to LIVE as a saved person is a very important thing.

According to God's Word, You can lose your salvation...don't be deceived by the lies of Satan.
1Corinthians 10:12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.
This earth on which we live, where men both stand and fall; and the best are subject to failing, being sons of Adam as well as sons of God; partly flesh and partly spirit.
-The vigilancy required in order to our standing, Take heed.
-How many thousands have fallen by a presumptuous confidence of their own strength in standing! they fell by thinking it impossible to fall.
Romans11:21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. Romans11:22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
--The Lord is with a people only whilst they are with him; if they serve and seek him, he will be found of them; but if they forsake him, he will cast them off for ever.( See Hebrews 10:26)
Hebrews 3:17 But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?
Hebrews 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
Hebrews 10:27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
Hebrews 10:28 He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
Hebrews 10:29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
Hebrews 10:30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
Hebrews 10:31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
2 Peter 2:20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
2 Peter 2:21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
2 Peter 2:22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.
-----Woe to those that relapse from God to the world, from truth to error, from grace to vice; their latter end will be worse than their beginning, if they do not recover themselves again by timely repentance, they will be cast into the lake of fire with the rest of the wicked, no matter what their previous profession.

I know buying into this doctrine comes from a hardened heart but I’m going to pray for you and hope you let the words of our Lord Jesus Christ sink in.
”Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes. Truly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all that he has. But if that servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming,’ and begins to beat the male and female servants, and to eat and drink and be drunk, the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the unbelievers. And that servant who knew his master’s will, and did not prepare himself or do according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more.“
      ‭‭Luke‬ ‭12‬:‭43‬-‭48‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
”But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.“
      ‭‭James‬ ‭3‬:‭14‬-‭18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
”Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless; and consider that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation-as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you, as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures.“

And I mean children of ALL ages. May come to the point of cursing God and walking away. Now this sin is not unforgivable. But. Like all sin , requires transformation and repentance . if it is not done. As Paul has said. If you continue in sin. Then there is no path for salvation. Whether having never been born again. Or having been done so. Still walk away .

You can walk away all you want. But HE STILL BOUGHT YOU. Even one's emotional folly wavering on foundations of sand as Luke said, you cannot just "UN" BELIEVE. One in this state has obviously not been praying or walking w the Lord but by no means will you lose salvation. You'll just lose your testimony and all reward crown jewels at the judgement seat. Tears wiped away but literally the bottom rung of heaven and the Lord's assignments the other side of this matrix.

You should really look up all the uses of the Greek word “believe”. Did you know every time it’s used towards man it’s “commit to” but every time it’s used towards us “believing in God” they translate it “believe”?
Kinda makes things like this make more sense:
”Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes. Truly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all that he has. But if that servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming,’ and begins to beat the male and female servants, and to eat and drink and be drunk, the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion *with the unbelievers.* And that servant who knew his master’s will, and did not prepare himself or do according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.

ME: Hello Vusi, those are great questions and a great number of churches exist through a misunderstanding of what is written in the Bible. I will share with you what I understand follow Biblically.
Which church are true according to the Bible in this world?
ME: There are multiple churches spoken of in the Bible but they exist only because of location hence the term "churches". In three of the Gospels Jesus asked Peter a specific question see Matthew 16:13-20, Mark 8:27-30, Luke 9:18-20. Matthew gives the most complete discussion between Jesus and Peter among the Gospels. A quick summary based on the answer Peter gave Him Jesus responded upon this rock I will build my church. Christ established the church, so it is His church. No other name for a church exists. That is the church Christ established therefore the only name. Church of Christ or Christ's Church. No 1st, 2nd, Southern Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal, Holiness, Church of God, Presbyterian, Jehovah Witness, Mormon, Latter day Saints, Roman Catholic, Islam/muslim, Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, I likely missed one or more. Jesus Christ named one church and it is his church.
Because many churches are not true according to this scriptures, Matthew 7:21-23,Roman's 10;1-3,2Corintians 11:12-15,2thimoty 4:3-4,2Peter 2:1-3,
ME: My preferred method is to post the scriptures but sometimes my comments are dismissed from the comments. I can at least refresh my memory with them.
Matthew 7:21-23 Christ isn't addressing a church here, he was addressing the people who claimed to follow his teachings, but didn't follow them in the day of judgement.
Romans 10:1-3 this was referring to men of Israel making up their own righteousness and disregarding the righteousness of God
2 Corinthians 11:12-15 this is not referring to a church. This has to do with the evil one presenting himself as an angel of light, which he is definitely not. Paul is warning the people about those who masquerade as follows of Christ.
2 Timothy 4:3-4 This is again speaking not of a church, but of people turning from the teachings of sound doctrine, instead these men form and follow their own false doctrines.
2 Peter 2:1-3 This is again talking of false doctrines and men who teach them. No church is specifically named here.
      and what is Christmas,
ME: The Bible makes no reference strictly thought up by man.
      Goodfriday
ME: A name given by man and there are no references to the term Good Friday in the Bible.
and Easter according to the Bible?
ME: The same as the first two all three are holidays thought up by heathen men. We are warned not to do as the heathens do.
      (Matthew 6:7)

@@truckstopcowboytruckstopco5639 -The angels lost their salvation (2 Peter 2:4), the people in the wilderness lost their salvation, they never got to go to the Promised Land (a parallel intimating Heaven)..that is an example for us to understand that we can lose our salvation just as they did and we will not make it to the Promised Land of Heaven but instead we will be cast in with the one we followed in hell, because we disobeyed God and His commands to repent and live a holy life.
-The angels lost their salvation by following Satan when he fell, people are less than the angels of heaven.
      2 Peter 2:4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
---Neither their former rank as angels of Heaven, their dignity, nor their being in Heaven, saved them from being thrust down to hell, and if God punished them so severely, how do you think that you can't lose your salvation and be thrust to hell with the angels that sinned. -Satan was an angel that had salvation in Heaven, until he fell, he was saved until, because of unbelief he sinned..fell and lost his salvation. An angel of God that is truly saved can fall and lose their salvation is a very implicit warning to us that we should be watchful against our own fall

Hebrews 3:13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
      Hebrews 3:14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
Hebrews 3:17 But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?
Hebrews 3:18 And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?
Hebrews 3:19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
-Unbelief was their sin, they did not believe God and did not do as He required. They did not believe the commands that God gave them, not to do certain things and to do other things a certain way.
-Unbelief that we have to do our part …(work out our salvation with fear and trembling -Philippians 2:12)
1 John 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
-And the unbelief that we don’t have to do anything but believe, have faith,
James 2:19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
James 2:20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
-So if you just believe as the devils and do not have repentance, reformation of life, change of heart, purifying self as He is pure to back that belief/faith up, then you will spend eternity with the devils that just believe.
-They lost their salvation because of unbelief of what is required of the people..Obedience, purifying self, working out our own salvation with fear and trembling..works required by God that must accompany faith…
“But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?”..
-Unbelief that nothing more is required than to believe is how they lost their salvation and it is how many others will lose their salvation and will not go to the rest of the promised land of God, Heaven but will instead be told by God..

Nowhere does it say that these never truly believed. But you also have to remember Matthew 7:21-23 to those who say Lord Lord have we not done mighty deeds in your name? And Jesus will reply that He never knew them. So in a lot of cases there are imposters who were false from the beginning. By the claims would seem to indicate false teachers who brag about their works and it is backed up by a lot more scripture. Like 2 Peter 2:3 and 2 Corinthians 11:13-15. And many other places that warn against wolves in sheep's clothing. Bible tells us to test the spirits and never take anything at face value. Jesus said we will know them by their fruits. Those who desire truth and study to know God's word won't be deceived. But hypocrites who don't sincerely seek God will be open to deception because they are on the enemy's legal ground.

The Bible does not indicate that those who fall away in the last days of this age were phony believers like those in Matthew. 7. I believe there are many who will cry Lord lord and not enter into the kingdom as the word says. But the apostasy teaching from Paul in 2nd Thessalonians and in the book of Revelation does not imply that these were those people.

@@blacksheepbear6382 Always read scripture and test what ANYONE says, even me. Jesus is our High Priest. Confess all to him daily and pray as often as possible for his guidance, strength and mercy. And keep focussed on God in deed, speech, and thoughts. Bring everything you know to be ungodly into submission and that’s how we follow. When I find myself annoyed or said or done something ungodly I immediately feel remorse and ask, father forgive me and give me strength.
Jesus taught that his Holy Spirit keeps us in check and we will know when we’ve grieved him as he convicts us, through our conscience. That we’ve done or said something unholy. He forgives when we ask. When Jesus died the veil in the temple tore in two! That’s because only high priests were allowed behind there to take blood sacrifices once a year to ask that the people are forgiven. But Jesus fulfilled all the law and now he is our heavenly priest, good shepherd, who forgives as often as we ask. He is loving and merciful and loves those who are broken hearted and ‘seek’ righteousness. It’s a relationship. Where man finds it hard to forgive us first things, Jesus forgives instantly when we pray for it.
And the fact you are worried shows that you have the fear of the LORD which is the beginning of wisdom. So you need not be afraid or let your heart be troubled. He came to save us, not condemn us. His disciples made many mistakes, doubted, denied him, argued who was greatest. They’re human like us. It’s all about seeking and wanting to be righteous daily. One day at a time is all we have and each day Jesus is there to guide us and his spirit to teach us lovingly.
I hope that helps. We are all struggling and Jesus knows our hearts and pain. Our Father just wants us home with him one day and to not give up and to keep praying, seeking and trying. 🙏🏼🕊️💞

In 1976, when I was 13 years old, I had a wide awake, real, in full color VISION of the Lord's Return...
We lived out in the country in the middle of dusty plowed fields, dirt roads and woods in south Georgia. Everything looked kind of brown and crispy, like it needed rain bad. The corn field across the road in front of the house was starting to turn brown and die.
I went to my bedroom, which faced out the front side of the house and looked out onto our front yard, which had a semi-circular dirt driveway and beside the left entrance was an old dogwood tree which had to be at least a hundred years old. Highway 341 ran from east to west in front of our house, which faced north, and the cornfield I spoke of earlier was on the other side of the highway. There was a slight rise in the middle of this field and you could not see the trees on the other side, so it looked like an ocean of corn that went off into the horizon.
As I lay across my bed looking out the window, contemplating what I saw before me, I began to hear music in the distance. I specifically heard it in my right ear and the direction from which it came made me think of the high school band which practiced several miles southeast from where I lived. When conditions were right we could hear the band playing, but usually only heard the faint beat of drums. This sounded like trumpets and as I was thinking this to myself, I began to notice the music getting louder and louder, coming closer and closer, very quickly.
Within a few seconds the sound wasn't just something that was exterior, but it was inside my head as well, reverberating throughout my entire body. It was so loud and it sounded like lightning crashed directly over my head and, in that split second, the trumpet sound thundered throughout my body and throughout the entire world...everything went dark and my bed and the earth shook violently.
In a flash, I was no longer lying on my bed, but I was standing outside my bedroom window in the front yard and I beheld the scene in front of me with tremendous awe. It was still my front yard, only now everything was different. It seemed as if my entire range of vision was a huge 3D movie screen and I was in the middle of it.
The trumpets continued to sound and I saw that the blue, sunny sky had turned black and the clouds churned and the wind blew with a violence that I had never experienced. The corn field was now a sea of wheat that was golden brown and ripe for harvest and I could see every stalk of wheat individually, billions of them. And I watched as the wind thrashed the wheat until it was beaten down by the storm. I now know that the Bible speaks several times about, in the end time, when the wheat is ripe for harvest, how the wheat will be separated from the tares. The tares are gathered and bundled together for burning and the wheat is gathered into the barn.
Then I noticed the dogwood tree. It was mid-July, so of course I know there should not have been any blossoms on it, they usually bloom around Easter...but the tree was in full bloom. I had never seen anything like this. You couldn't see any leaves on the tree because of the millions of dogwood blossoms. It looked as if it were lit from within, by a glowing whitest of white, neon light and it glowed gloriously against the darkened sky. Now, I know the Bible says no man knows the day nor hour that Jesus will return, but if we watch for the signs, we can know the season. I have always felt that He might come back in the spring when the dogwood tree is in bloom. Of all the things that could have been highlighted in a vision; why the dogwood tree? I believe there is a specific message here. (Update: recently, I prayed about this and I feel the Lord placed into my spirit that this represents the fullness of the gentiles coming in).
Just as I was taking all of this in, lightning filled the sky and the trumpets thundered over head again and in an instant there appeared two angels. They were dressed in white robes, facing each other up in the air and blowing golden trumpets. They were huge and filled the sky in front of me and I knew that the entire world must be seeing this as well. When I say huge, I mean like the size of the highest mountains, literally.
I didn't think the trumpets could get any louder, but they grew louder still, building to a great crescendo and I heard a great shout that was louder than anything that you could imagine. And with that shout, it's as if the earth fell silent, the black, violent clouds began to roll back onto themselves from the center of the northeastern sky and I saw light in the distance. It was more a combination of light and clearing of the clouds in the distance that got my attention. As I looked up at this shaft of light and clearing sky, I saw what seemed to be fluttering and movement in the distance. As it came into view, I saw Jesus on a white horse and behind him were millions of angels and saints on white horses. It was at this moment, when I realized what I was seeing, that it disappeared and I was back in my room lying on my bed. Everything was back to normal and I was again looking out at a bright, sunny day.

According to God's Word, You can lose your salvation...don't be deceived by the lies of Satan and these false prophets.

But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. @@TheClimbingBronyOldColt One of the pillars of the Protestant Reformation was Martin Luther’s belief that we are saved by faith alone. All one had to do was to profess a belief in Christ and he would be saved for all eternity. Anything he might do from that point on would have no effect on it. Luther once wrote: “No sin will separate us from the Lamb, even though we commit fornication and murder a thousand times a day”.
Luther’s novel teaching was in stark contrast to what we find in Scripture. The apostle Paul clearly believed that salvation, once achieved, could be lost. He affirms this when writing to the church at Corinth: “But you yourselves wrong and defraud, and that even your own brethren. Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither the immoral, nor the idolaters, nor the adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor robbers will inherit the kingdom of God” (1 Corinthians 6:8-10).
It is important to note that Paul was talking to a group of Christians. In other words, He was talking to people who Martin Luther would say were saved. And yet Paul is warning them about losing their salvation. Jesus Himself made the same point when He addressed the Church at Ephesus: “Realize how far you have fallen. Repent, and do the works you did at first. Otherwise, I will come to you and remove your lamp stand from its place” (Revelation 2:5).
The lamp stand is symbolic of Christ’s presence. To have your lamp stand removed is to be separated from Christ. That they had a lamp stand to remove indicates that they were at one point, “in Christ” (2 Corinthians 5:17). Jesus’ command to repent is a warning that they must once again abide in Him. And as we are told in John 15:4-6 we must abide in Him or be cast forth like a branch and be burned.
Earlier in 1 Corinthians Paul allows for the possibility that even he might not be saved. He wrote:
It is required of stewards that they be found trustworthy. But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you or by any human court. I do not even judge myself. I am not aware of anything against myself, but I am not thereby acquitted. It is the Lord who judges me. Therefore, do not pronounce judgment before the time, before the Lord comes, who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. Then every man will receive his commendation from God (1 Corinthians 4:2-5).
Paul points out that it is God who pronounces judgment. And he takes the extra step to tell others not to pronounce judgment. That means you can never definitively say that a person is damned or saved. Only God can make that judgment. Paul also said: “Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. Well, I do not run aimlessly, I do not box as one beating the air, but I pommel my body and subdue it lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified” (1 Corinthians 9:25-27).
I do not think that anyone would argue with the fact that Paul is a Christian at this point. And yet in this passage he tells us that he can lose his salvation. The reason why Paul, or any Christian for that matter, can lose their salvation is because even after accepting Christ a person is still capable of sinning and remaining unrepentant. And as we saw above (Revelation 2:5) repentance is necessary for forgiveness.
Apostasy is another way that salvation can be lost:
For it is impossible to restore again to repentance those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they then commit apostasy, since they crucify the Son of God on their own account and hold Him up to contempt. For land which has drunk the rain that often falls upon it, and brings forth vegetation useful to those for whose sake it is cultivated, receives a blessing from God. But if it bears thorns and thistles, it is worthless and near being cursed; its end is to be burned (Hebrews 6:4-8).
Protestants will point to several verses of Scripture which appear to bolster their argument. For instance:
He who has the Son has life; he who has not the Son of God has not life. I write this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life (1 John 5:12-13).
My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand (John 10:29).
In the first reading John tells us that he who has the Son has eternal life. And of course, this raises the question; who are the ones who have the Son? John himself answers that question; those who remain in Him have the Son (John 6:57). He also says that those who believe in Jesus have eternal life. Consequently, those who do not believe do not have eternal life. To believe in Jesus is to believe in what He taught. When asked what was necessary for salvation Jesus replied, obey the commandments, and give to the poor (Mark 1017-22).
As for John 10:29; It is true, no one can snatch the saved from the Father’s hand. However, if we have free will we can voluntarily jump out of the Father’s hand. And that is just the point we saw illustrated earlier in the readings from 1 Corinthians and Ephesians.
James makes the case even stronger:
My brothers, if anyone among you should stray from the truth and someone bring him back, he should know that whoever brings back a sinner from the error of his way will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins (James 5:19-20).
Abide in the truth, your saved. Stray from the truth, your condemned. Brought back to the truth, your saved.
Another argument used to support the Protestant view comes from John 6:39 which reads: “and this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me but raise it up at the last day.” And so, the reasoning goes, one who is saved is given to Jesus. Thus, if anyone who has been given to Jesus is subsequently lost it would mean that the will of God had not been realized. Since God is all powerful that could never happen. Hence, once someone is saved, they are always saved.
But this is based on a misunderstanding of the nature of God’s will. There are three aspects of God’s will. First there is what some would call God’s Executive will. He says: “let there be light” and without the slightest hesitation there is light. God is all powerful and it simply cannot be any other way. Then there is God’s permissive will. This would involve His allowing bad things to happen. And this is usually the result of our bad choices. Lastly there is God’s active will. This would involve those things that God desires for us. God only desires good things for us. But He does not force them on us. He loves us, and He wants us to love Him. Only someone with free will can choose to love God. Once we accept God our free will is not taken away. One who can choose to love can also choose not to love.
Just as it is the will of God that Jesus not lose one that is given to Him, so it is also the will of God that all men be saved (1 Timothy 2:4). And yet we know that most people will choose hell. Jesus Himself tells us this: “Enter by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is easy, that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard, that leads to life, and those who find it are few (Matthew 7:13-14).” Is this a failure on God’s part? No, it is a failure on the part of those who have rejected God’s offer.
Salvation can also be lost if we neglect to do that which God calls us to. While faith is certainly a vital element in achieving salvation, it is also true that our faith must be evident in our actions. The book of James is very clear on this:
What does it profit, my brethren, if a man says he has faith but has not works? Can his faith save him? If a brother or sister is ill-clad and in lack of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what does it profit? So, faith by itself, if it has no works, is dead (James 2:14-17).
I have said it before, but it bears repeating, the works that lead to salvation are not the product of our own intrinsic goodness. They are accomplished by the power (grace) of God. A failure to do good works is a rejection of God’s grace. And that brings us back to our original question; can salvation be lost? It most certainly can be lost. And it will be lost when, at any point, a Christian rejects God’s grace and remains unrepentant.

God's Word says we can lose your salvation…Don't be deceived by the lies of Satan and these false prophets.
***The angels lost their salvation (2 Peter 2:4), the people in the wilderness lost their salvation, they never got to go to the Promised Land (a parallel intimating Heaven)..these are examples for us to be warned that we can lose our salvation just as they did and we will not make it to the Promised Land of Heaven but instead we will be cast in with the one we followed in hell, because we disobeyed God and His commands to repent and live a holy life.
***The angels lost their salvation by following Satan when he fell, people are less than the angels of heaven.
      2 Peter 2:4 For if GOD SPARED NOT THE ANGELS THAT SINNED, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
***Neither their former rank as holy angels of Heaven, their dignity, nor their being in Heaven, saved them from being thrust down to hell, and if God punished them so severely, how do you think that you can't lose your salvation and be thrust to hell with the fallen angels that sinned.
The word of God is referring to angels in heaven that were truly holy and saved but due to falling into sin they lost their salvation and were thrust into hell. In the presence of an holy God, is no place for unholy persons.
***Before these fallen angels came out of the presence of God, they were holy; and being holy, they were beloved of God; else he hated the image of his own spotless purity. But now he loves them no more; they are doomed to endless destruction. (for if he loved them still, he would love what is sinful:) and both his former love, and his present righteous and eternal displeasure towards the same work of his own hands, are because he changes not; because he invariably loves righteousness, and hates iniquity.
Jude 1:5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, HOW THAT THE LORD, HAVING SAVED THE PEOPLE OUT OF the land of Egypt, AFTERWARD DESTROYED THEM that believed not.
Jude 1:6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
Jude 1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, ARE SET FORTH FOR AN EXAMPLE, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
*** SAVED THE PEOPLE - Delivered them from the Egyptian bondage (intimating the bondage of sin).
***AFTERWARD DESTROYED THEM - Because they neither believed his word, nor were obedient to his commands. Let none therefore presume upon past mercies, as if he was now out of danger.
***The destruction of the Israelites, of the inhabitants of Sodom, and of the angels that sinned, is recorded for the warning of sinners in all ages, and to show that however great the blessings men may enjoy, if they continue in sin, or reject the gospel, they will inevitably and awfully perish forever losing their salvation.
***The Israelites in the wilderness; as they perished through unbelief, after they were brought out of Egypt, so shall revolters perish, notwithstanding their baptism, and fair beginnings. As those who had been delivered from Egypt were afterward destroyed for their unbelief (sin), or as the mere fact of their being rescued did not prevent destruction from coming on them, so the fact that these persons were saved to be delivered from sin, and had become professed followers of God, would not prevent their being destroyed if they afterward led wicked, sinful lives.
***They first were saved, delivered from sin; then second, they were destroyed because of their sin of unbelief that God said not to sin. They thought that they could do what they wanted and live contrary to God’s way because HE had saved them previously, they justifying themselves in their sins suffered the loss of that precious salvation and never entered into God’s rest (promise land).
Destroyed them that believed not. That is, on account of their unbelief, returning to sin, living in sin. They were not permitted to enter the promised land, but were cut off in the wilderness. Just as if we continue to sin or go back to sin, we “ALSO SHALT BE CUT OFF” - Romans 11:22..meaning you will lose your salvation, will not enter into God’s rest in Heaven, will not be saved from the burning torments of hell.
***Unbelief will as certainly bring destruction upon Christians now, as it did upon the Israelites of old. Did God destroy them that believed not his commands then? no less will he destroy them that believe not his commands now.
***After having been called by God, we ought not to glory carelessly in his grace, but on the contrary, to walk watchfully in his fear; for if any trifles thus with God, the contempt of his grace will not be unpunished. And this he proves by three examples in His word given through Jude. He first refers to the vengeance which God executed on those unbelievers, whom he had chosen as his people, and delivered by his power. Nearly the same reference is made by Paul in the tenth chapter of the First Epistle to the Corinthians. The import of what he says is, that those whom God had honored with the greatest blessings, whom he had extolled to the same degree of honor as we enjoy at this day, he afterwards severely punished.
Then in vain were all they proud of God’s grace, who did not live in a manner suitable to their calling.
***The word people is by way of honor taken for the holy and chosen nation, as though he had said that it availed them nothing, that they by a singular favor had been taken into covenant.
***By calling them unbelieving, he denotes the fountain of all evils; for all their sins, mentioned by Moses, were owing to this, because they refused to be ruled by God’s word. For where there is the subjection of faith, there obedience towards God necessarily appears in all the duties of life.
***Suffering the vengeance of eternal fire; they were cast into endless perdition with the devil and his angels.
Luke 10:18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
***Satan was an angel that had salvation in Heaven, until he fell, he was saved until, because of unbelief he sinned..fell and lost his salvation. An angel of God that is truly saved can fall and lose their salvation is a very implicit warning to us that we should be watchful against our own fall
Hosea 4:3 Therefore shall the land mourn, and every one that dwelleth therein shall languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven; yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away.
Hosea 4:5 Therefore shalt thou FALL in the day, and the prophet also shall FALL with thee in the night, and I WILL DESTROY thy mother.
Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I ALSO WILL REJECT THEE
1Corinthians 10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
1Corinthians 10:12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he FALL.
***This earth on which we live, where men both stand and fall; and the best are subject to failing, being sons of Adam as well as sons of God; partly flesh and partly spirit.
-The vigilancy required in order to our standing, Take heed.
-How many thousands have fallen by a presumptuous confidence of their own strength in standing! they fell by thinking it impossible to fall.

The reason why people believe in eternal security is because they do not harmonize verses like John 10:28 WITH verses like Colossians 1:21-23 "now He has reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present you (a believer) holy and blameless and above reproach in His sight, if if if if if you CONTINUE IN THE FAITH (a believer who IS in the faith because he has to CONTINUE in it), grounded and settled, and are NOT REMOVED FROM the hope of the gospel." In other words, when you take ALL relevant scriptures into account you can see that we have eternal life IF you continue in the faith. This is no different than if a person is engaged to be married. The marriage is assured to occur so long as neither one of them gets sexually involved with someone else during the engagement period.

Most people know that once you saved you're saved you cannot lose your salvation. If this is not true then we have no assurance of our salvation therefore we cannot be assured that we are saved and since there's no blessed assurance, we have to make sure our works are good enough to save us because trusting in Jesus is not enough.
Congratulations, we have become the Catholic Church.....

-The angels lost their salvation (2 Peter 2:4), the people in the wilderness lost their salvation, they never got to go to the Promised Land (a parallel intimating Heaven)..that is an example for us to understand that we can lose our salvation just as they did and we will not make it to the Promised Land of Heaven but instead we will be cast in with the one we followed in hell, because we disobeyed God and His commands to repent and live a holy life.
-The angels lost their salvation by following Satan when he fell, people are less than the angels of heaven.
      2 Peter 2:4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
---Neither their former rank as angels of Heaven, their dignity, nor their being in Heaven, saved them from being thrust down to hell, and if God punished them so severely, how do you think that you can't lose your salvation and be thrust to hell with the angels that sinned. We are referring to angels in heaven that were truly holy and saved but due to falling into sin they lost their salvation and were thrust into hell.
According to God's Word, You can lose your salvation...don't be deceived by the lies of Satan and these false prophets.
Luke 10:18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
-Satan was an angel that had salvation in Heaven, until he fell, he was saved until, because of unbelief he sinned..fell and lost his salvation. An angel of God that is truly saved can fall and lose their salvation is a very implicit warning to us that we should be watchful against our own fall
1Corinthians 10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
1Corinthians 10:12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.
-This earth on which we live, where men both stand and fall; and the best are subject to failing, being sons of Adam as well as sons of God; partly flesh and partly spirit.
-The vigilancy required in order to our standing, Take heed.
-How many thousands have fallen by a presumptuous confidence of their own strength in standing! they fell by thinking it impossible to fall.
2 Peter 3:7 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
Hebrews 3:10 Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways.
Hebrews 3:11 So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)
Hebrews 3:12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
Hebrews 3:13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
      Hebrews 3:14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

Jesus did not say salvation is a process. Eternal life is a free gift, Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Discipleship and service is a process but not to be saved. He clearly said if you believe in Him, you have eternal life right at that moment. Not go through some manmade process you made up. It is not about what you do but what Jesus did.
      John 3
15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
      ...
36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
John 5:24 - Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
      John 6:47
47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
      John 11
25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
27 She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.
      1 John 5
11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

Although no one can remove us from God‘s hand, here are the reasons why I’ve come to believe we can leap out of salvation after being saved.
    1. If I stop having faith. (Matthew 24:13)
    2. How do one cast out demons in the Lords name without ever coming to faith? (Matthew 7:22-23)
    3. If my name can be removed from the book of life implies I was once saved (Revelation 3:5)
    4. What did King David mean here when pleading for God to not take his Holy Spirit from him? (Psalms 51:11)
    5. The author of Hebrews warns about it being impossible to return to the faith after falling away. Which implies such people were also once saved (Hebrews 6:4-6)
    6. Paul’s warning to the Corinthians suggest that this church was already saved when given this warning (1 Corinthians 15:1-2)

(PERIOD), How many times can one lose there Salvation, if there are multiple amounts of times, then that becomes a works dependent faith and not God dependent Faith, Search the Scriptures Jesus said for in them you think you have eternal life, Oh the contentment of the blood sacrifice, surrender, yielding & obey. How arrogant does a person have to be to believe that you cannot be cut off.
    Romans 11
19You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.” 20That is correct: They were broken off because of unbelief, but you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but be afraid. 21For if God did not spare the natural branches, He will certainly not spare you either. 22Take notice, therefore, of the kindness and severity of God: severity to those who fell, but kindness to you, if you continue in His kindness. Otherwise you also will be cut off.

***The angels lost their salvation by following Satan when he fell, people are less than the angels of heaven.
      2 Peter 2:4 For if GOD SPARED NOT THE ANGELS THAT SINNED, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
***Neither their former rank as angels of Heaven, their dignity, nor their being in Heaven, saved them from being thrust down to hell, and if God punished them so severely, how do you think that you can't lose your salvation and be thrust to hell with the angels that sinned.
The word of God is referring to angels in heaven that were truly holy and saved but due to falling into sin they lost their salvation and were thrust into hell.
Luke 10:18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
***Satan was an angel that had salvation in Heaven, until he fell, he was saved until, because of unbelief he sinned..fell and lost his salvation. And we can only be truly saved if we give our entire life over to Christ and repent with a truly contrite heart. Then He gives us the Holy Spirit who constantly works in us to help us become more and more like Him. I hate my sin. I hate it so much I cry when I sin. But then He reminds me that I am His and that He forgives me and He is working on me. As we grow we sin less and we become more holy and reflect Christ more. I am so thankful God has given me a contrite heart and has saved me from death and gave me eternal life ❤

One of the pillars of the Protestant Reformation was Martin Luther’s belief that we are saved by faith alone. All one had to do was to profess a belief in Christ and he would be saved for all eternity. Anything he might do from that point on would have no effect on it. Luther once wrote: “No sin will separate us from the Lamb, even though we commit fornication and murder a thousand times a day".

God's Word says You can lose your salvation…Don't be deceived by the lies of Satan and these false prophets.
      2 Peter 2:4 For if GOD SPARED NOT THE ANGELS THAT SINNED, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
2 Peter 3:7 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, FALL from your own stedfastness.
***The Lord is with a people only whilst they are with him; if they serve and seek him, he will be found of them; but if they forsake him, he will cast them off for ever.( See Hebrews 10:26)
