- Ben Burnley of Breaking Benjamin performed a solo acoustic show at The House of Blues in Atlantic City, NJ on July 10th. Joining him onstage playing guitar and providing backup vocals was Aaron Bruch of Ourafter. This was announced as the last song, but Ben stayed for an encore and played "Who Wants To Live Forever" (Queen cover) and "Rain", but my memory card was full!! CRAP!!!!

Sounding amazing on studio recordings is easy .. sounding amazing on regular live shows is hard .. BUT sounding absolutely amazing on acoustic performances shows a great singer!
He broke one doing a cover of Nirvana (don't know which song). He knocked it over like Kurt Cobain, cracking the microphone.
The owner of the microphone then said "I'd like to thank Benjamin for breaking my fucking microphone."
And that's how Breaking Benjamin got it's name.

i hate how the new AUTOTUNED artists that dont have 2 do shit get more money more fans and crap for fake stuff. while these guys have to work their asses off to impress us :D! i love them for that but i think bands like these should be on TOP OF THE WORLD.

He's got a strong, good and unique voice. What else could you ask for from a singer? And his songwriting skills, while I admit not the best, are very good. Great performer and musician.
Can't really say anyone's songwriting is the best since it's all based on mental and emotional preference from the songwriter

This particular song is in Drop Bb/Drop A#. Some songs are in different tunings. For instance, So Cold is in Drop C.

@SelasSolaris Perhaps you should go back and watch the video. The close up on Ben singing lasts less than one minute of the 4 minute video and doesn't even occur until 2:09 into it. Not that it matters much because it's not like this is my job or anything. Hopefully you enjoyed the video.......

Love the way he tucks his gum away while he sings, then pops it right back out to chomp on when he's done.
Good acoustic cover, but i like their piano version better would have been epic if they had someone playing a grand behind him. Also i know this is a recording and it always sounds better when you are there but he did hit quite a few bum notes. Tis a shame, but such an epic song none the less!

He has such a nice quiet/deeper voice.. pity that he sung most of these songs as if they were plugged-in rock concert versions ;/ Still good stuff, but the loud rock voice sounds funny with the acoustic guitar.

@starsmily7 i have found a couple videos of who wants to live forever. its one of my favorite covers of theirs. yeah i wish he wouldve got one too cause youre quality is so much better than all the others ive seen. i would love a copy of this. wouldve loved it more if i didnt live 13 hrs away from either of these shows and couldve been there.
