Kirk didn’t accept that deal to sit the bench or have to worry about a rookie taking his job. That’s why he left Minnesota. He hasn’t played well but ATL was not honest with him.
@@TruthHurts58Atl should have never gave an old washed up QB coming off a serious injury a guaranteed contract.... Stoopid dumb and dumber business deals by Senile Arthur Blank and Rich McGay...Steelers signed Russell with no guarantees and no big cap hit....Thats a smart organization 😊😊😊
I just hate the aspect how Raheem literally every week Kirk is our Quartback were gonna stand behind him blah blah blah and BAM*** just like that benched idk just seem dishonest
DISHONEST?! They stood by him until they couldn't. Gave him ample enough time to get his stuff together and he failed. One man isn't bigger than the program...On to the next!
Yeah it really came out of nowhere. And to think it was after the game where he finally snapped his passing TD drought and our losing streak ended that finally resulted in the bench. So weird.
The whole franchise was dishonest from day one. If Kirk knew they were going to draft Pennix, he likely would have taken the one year deal and stayed with a better team in Minnesota. Instead the Falcons made him a sweet offer and sold him on being their guy and retiring a Falcon, then they go and draft Pennix. Shady deal and it will come back to bite them in the ass.
90 million reasons for Kurt to handle it with class

@TruthHurts58 he coulda kept his ass in Minnesota but wanted that bag

They're under no obligation to be honest with him@@TruthHurts58
When you're guaranteed millions it's not hard to handle it with class
Yet we’ve seen countless athletes not handle it that way.
His old ass needs to retire he cant last a 17 game season
@@mattyghost3409 his old ass threw for 500 yds a few weeks ago in a comeback win over the Bucs.
True Facts
@@TruthHurts58yepp... then he threw for 1 touchdown & 9 interceptions in 5 games straight 🤦🏽♂️
Sounds like coach is even calling him "Kurt" now 😂!
Someone please tell Coach Morris that the QB's name is KIRK, NOT KURT.
Kirk said he’s gonna be the best #2 in the league…for 180 million, I hope so.
MN Vikings Fan, was sad to see Kirk go. He is a class act. In the end, HE GOT THE MONEY and wherever he goes I wish him nothing but the best
we are still in a good spot, we will be fine guys we are in good hands. #RiseUP
Your optimism is admirable. Maybe next season, brother.
Not until we get an owner that understands player personnel... Don't sign old washed up QBs to big deals
Yea, Bring back Steve Bartkowski! I Truly Miss Him!

decision 100% came from the top to bench him, definitely not raheem

@ not true. They never expected Penix to be available at 8, so when he was available they jumped on it.
That buys him about 2 more years to coach there.
We are going to bring in Steve Bartkowski on an emergency basis, Go Cal Bears

Should've NEVER took another snap after that atrocious game against San Diego.
