Bathroom Teak Flooring, Installing Windows,... / LOG CABIN Building (S4 Ep12)

- My wish was to have a wooden flooring in all of the log cabin, but I was not sure what wood could work in the bathroom. At the end I decided for the teak wood and from what I was told it should be lasting the longest and it also expands almost nothing with the change of humidity and with contact with the water. It was a bit tricky laying it down and it had to be installed on top of a water-tight glue, which I never worked with before and was a bit nervous to get it right. In this episode I also installed the two remaining windows. I installed just the glass by myself as I don't need those windows to open.

Feel like I've heard it all.. but this really transported me. So beautiful. I actually cried when i saw how happy your wife was after her jump in the snow and just you two having so much fun. I'm originally from New Hampshire in the u.s. and it's snow covered like that. It's so beautiful. It's like a new world when it's all white. Live in the south now, no snow. Bummer lol.i miss it sometimes. I love the warm weather though. Anyway, your video showed me i still have a chance at happiness. I've been thinkin about getting into carpentry, wood working. Might just do it.

How satisfying to work with nice hard wood like teak It gives a tangible feeling of the marine.. Everything you do is so well done and the materials so durable. Everything in that almost bombproof house will last for a hundred years, at least. The result is amazing!

I can not imagine living such a wonderful place! At the 27 min. mark: Where I live we get a measurable snow maybe once a year. Once every 5 years or so we get snow deep enough to roll in like this. But after the first tumble you will need to get into some dry cloths because you will be soaked to the skin! Only a few times in my 80 plus years have I seen snow like this where I live.

Teak wood is good. A rustic stone floor could also look good in the bathroom.
