This song is like the song I've expected ever since I knew about Madeon. In the beginning, I thought Madeon's songs were always like this, but when I found out Adventure and his other past singles didn't fill me, I just listened to it because at least it was good. With the time, I got used to his usual music and even started to love it. But now, I remember these times because of this song, this was something I wanted Madeon to make from years ago and I never knew it. "All My Friends" was also close to my old concept, but I just couldn't recognize it then. This is beautiful.
The visual is quite interesting. The way Madeon mysteriously creates his own universe with little clues spread out through his work is pretty cool. In this case, there's an image of Daedalus creating wings that his son Icarus would eventually use to fly too close to the sun. The text is written in Madeon's Adventure alphabet, and reads "Daedalus World". Obviously this references Madeon's song Icarus, but I'm not sure of any other significance/relations that are currently known.
Simon Bass There is Morse code at the end of Technicolor that spells out ‘Icarus Fell.’ Typing this into the technicolor website causes text to appear saying ‘the secret is in the pixel empire.’ Viewing a spectrogram of the transition between Innocence and Pixel empire reveals the logo 《◇》. This Daedalus and Icarus tie in with his songs/eras is so interesting to me. I also feel that the term ‘architects’ refer to Daedalus and the others who helped him construct the labyrinth in mythology
