- Hey guys and welcome to todays video where I go through each Mario game and tell you all the very best power up! I had tons of fun making this video I going through some I had completely forgotten about! I hope you enjoy the upcoming videos I have planned and enjoy the next 3 weeks off school and please stay safe!

I’m pretty sure most people think the cloud flower is actually better since it can be really op at times and can let you skip whole sections of some levels
I speedrun galaxy 2. I can say that the cloud flower is far superior to the rock mushroom

I'd say it's more.. the item that bails out bad players. Just skipping the level isn't really something I would consider a reward. Like, you paid $50 for this game and then there's an item that makes you play less of the game. If "not playing the game" can be considered a reward... well, that can't be a very good game then.

It was added to the very first New Super Mario Bros. release, i mean on Nintendo DS.
Ice flower worked differently in galaxy, so I consider them different power ups

It’s called different things in different game, all my info comes from different online sites like the Mario wiki, even though this seems like a simple video I did a heck ton of research for it

If you go through a coin ring and then bump a block that would normally have a super mushroom, you encounter a golden mushroom which gives you 50 coins instead of making you grow but yeah I see what you mean. 9:43 & 9:50 You see? The large heart that gives you 6 pieces of energy is from Galaxy. It's not a new power up in Odyssey.
It wasn’t a heart in galaxy though. It was a special mushroom

Don't forget that the Penguin Suit also has normal traction on ice, and can swim the best in water while retaining normal land controls. It is the best choice for ice AND water levels.
but the ice flower is simple a d simplicity is the best for powerups.

if the mega mushroom was introduced in another game the severely underrated shell power up might be a staple power up or at least a popular one.

I still think the cape feather is the best power up in Super Mario World because while those wings do make you fly infinitely it ends when you finish the level in that bonus room. At leastit does transform whatever you should you have into the best Yoshi which is the blue one.the cape feather you can use from level to level and keep it permanently until Mario takes damage and it allows you to fly with any Yoshi although temporarily and it makes flying a lot better when you have Yoshi swallow a blue shell because you can just hold the b button instead of pressing it repeatedly.
for some reason I was expecting you to pick the fire flower as the best power up in Super Mario Land 2. I actually do agree with you that the bunny ears are the best, but I do find it weird how you can't do the spin jump anymore.
in New Super Mario Bros I do think the giant mushroom is really cool but I honestly fine to be very situational. I think it's not as good as some of the other new power-ups because there are so many times I just can't use it because there's no room. Plus it's a temporary power up. I guess I'd say the blue shells the best but then again you don't have as much control when you're rolling around inside the shell although it's fun.
oh so instead of a mushroom doubling your health like it does in Super Mario Galaxy it's a heart that doesn't Super Mario Odyssey. Yeah I know I somehow have not actually played Super Mario Odyssey.

Sunshine replaces its powerups with nozzles, the best would have been the hover nozzle due to its versatility in any given situation.

The Hammer Suit and Mega Mushroom are by far the most powerful powerups. They allow you to defeat most enemies, and the latter even lets you destroy everything in your path.
Its both a good and bad thing that both of these rare in stages.
The Mega Star is an effectively better version of the Mega Mushroom.

Good thing mario games know how to balance items, example, the invincible leaf only appears if you die at least 6 times in a level, and wont protect you from lava from the floor.

While they are power ups, there viability isn't that great.

Crap about Super Mario 3D world:
• In the bottom left of the first screen, you will se an 8 bit Luigi, click on that to play Luigi bro’s on Wii U
• Weaknesses:
Peach: Slow Run
Toad: Small Jump
Mario: Everything
Rosalina: Slowest Run
Luigi: Low Traction
• Powers:
Peach: Fluttering
Toad: Dashing
Mario: Nothing
Luigi: Long Jump (Similar to fluttering, but not the same)
Rosalina: Spin
• Master the entire game to unlock World Crown
• If you finish all the levels with the characters on the flag, you get special character stamps
• Rosalina is unlocked on world 8-2
• If your having trouble on Champions Road, there is a glitch to bring Golden Tanukis to Champions Road. (You need multiplayer)
• Glitch: Go to world 4, then go to that dark world with piranha plants and fire flowers. One player needs to grab one tabule, and put the rest in the dock. Then get to the part with the block that’s going trough a lot of items, jump on that or use a cat suit to get up there, then go until you see the red pipe, go into the red pipe. Now, go into champions road, and bam! Wikipedia says if you clear the game or have super Luigi bro’s save data you get Luigi arcade game, idk what it’s saying though.

I think the different nozzle attachments in Mario Sunshine should count as power ups, they all help you access different areas and do different things that the others can't. Loved the video btw!
I personally think that the Hammer Bros suit is the best of SM3. No other Mario powerup has ever granted such a major offense boost that wasn't temporary (invincibility star is out). Hammer Bros turns every enemy into powder in seconds.
Copycat: the toonoki suit allows mario to turn into a statue.
Me: if you played super mario 3D land, it dosent give you that ability until you reach the special levels.

My personal favorite was the hammer suit because I like idea of basically becoming an enemy. (At least in SMB3. My all time favorite is the Mega Mushroom from 3DW.)
The hammer suit in SMB3 (NES) was pretty cool. You could throw hammers that could destroy many enemies you just could'nt destroy with other ways or other suit : thwomps, the skeletal turtles...
Metal cap is “Very unique” now. Basically the same as the star and vanish cap, very unique.
I wouldn’t even consider the rocket flower a power up, power ups are supposed to transform Mario and make him stronger or give him a new ability, but the rocket flower doesn’t even transform Mario and all it does is make it to where you run almost uncontrollably fast until it runs out

I believe cape feather is not only the best item in super mario world, but probably one of the best itens in mario history. Its a pretty broken item that can trivialize most of the hardest levels of the game.
