I don't know why these videos aren't got more popular among beginers.These are absolutely beginer friendly and have great explanations which anyone can understand easily. What if we want to style an id or class. How would the syntax looks like.

}
P#id[$]{
}
Is it correct?

Almost, so it would be this for a class:
p.class {}
and this for an id:
p#id {}
