Hi Fatima, I just made your carrot cake and it is delicious. But I don't know if I was dreaming but I added a cup of buttermilk by mistake. I only realized after I made the cake that it does not have buttermilk in the recipe. Don't ask me what happened but I tell you it is absolutely delicious. Thank you. Also that blikkie that you keep your masala in is so retro!!!! As for the recipe: I’m sure it’s delicious 😋. I enjoy making carrot cake/ cookies. I recently used grated apple in my mix cause it was there. I’ve never made frosting, though..

I tried the frosting but seems to be way too much butter and it stayed lumpy until i added 4 more cups of icing sugar. Did you perhaps use margarine and not butter? The cake came out lovely
