Hello to all you Eurobeat Legends around the world. Wanted to share some of my thoughts on this mix, to help give some context to this mix: 01.) There are a total of 5 different versions of this song that have been mixed together (list in the comments). Going into this mix, I had already made a mix of the 4 different versions at that time (the rock mix being the latest version then), so for this mix I wanted to keep it simple but still great to listen to. 02.) You'll notice there aren't too many sound effects on this mix. I personally love adding them to mixes but some songs need that room to breathe and flex the instrumentation instead of being covered with sound effects. To me, sound effects help emphasize certain moments in a mix to help the listener get into the groove and mood of the song. This is one of the many tracks by Dave Rodgers that I absolutely adore, mostly during my time in high school and college. 03.) Overall, the mindset into this mix is simple: how time and sound change. Each version of this song can take me back to a moment in my life ever since I first heard this song. As I listen, I reflect on the sound but also the time. Dave's voice changes with each iteration of the song, becoming more refined and experienced. That's what life is all about, experience and time and how we spend it. Whatever we leave behind, remember that we will always have a reputation to uphold. Some a good reputation and others a bad reputation but nonetheless a reputation and image of you is left. What reputation will you leave behind? Who knows honestly... That's all I got for now. You all stay safe and Happy New Year's to everyone. Plus, I don't mean to sound cliche, but thoughts and prayers are with Japan right now after the devastating earthquake they had today. Take care and catch ya later
I can't tell you how many times I listened to the Wild Reputation 2K10 EuroRock Mix you made. It's one of the few videos I added to my favorites on TH-cam in recent years, so seeing this show up on my feed... Has been a welcome sight. Looking forward to hearing it all, and have a good year!
I love your remixes. I listen to them all the time when I play rally games. Right now I'm playing the whole dirt series and I started with dirt showdown. Your remixes help me concentrate!
Ive had an idea for a pretty cool mix for a while now, bad world, eurohero and go go money in this order. I would be forever and ever grateful if you made it into a mix. These songs need to be put together with those out of the world transitions you make 🙏🙏
Please do engine on fire by Lou grant for 5-6 minutes as the only one i can find now was Dave rogers version but it gas a weird thumbnail😢 and i know their was another one
