Love your videos! I'm learning so much, as we just moved in into a bigger apartment! Keep it up & and if you have time, let's have a coffee in Munich :)
Haha sometime rules are made to be broken! It depends on the specific space. But it’s good to have these general guidelines in place as a starting point when it comes to furnishing!
Great tips! I've avoided a huge box spring type of bed because I've seen how it makes a room small if you don't have a high enough ceiling. Now mostly because of that my room feels much more spacious than when the previous tenant lived in it.
I'm the same. I have a perfectly practical mirror in my living room, and it's even symmetrical with an coordinating round clock, but it looks cheap. Yesterday, I found a better vintage mirror that is more high end. Out goes the old one. Thst's whst curating is like. Just don't spend too much if the first item isn't perfect.
People here have horrible fans hanging over the fed, sharp edges dangerous looking. Plus previous decades people got 3 big floor to ceiling mirror doors wardrobes facing their bed. And ideally a water bed. Just awful.

We chose to have the tiny bedroom. I love just the bed and nightstands. So cozy. So easy to keep clean.
Just talented!
I like feet size rugs near the bed. I have little Persian carpets.

You can rearrange your existing furniture to make the layout work for you :)
