Now I can do a lot of really cool things like tony.. Just redicuous how mature his playing was, his dynamics while using the double pedal kills me, I try to be quiet on them but it's hard to do..

My daughter shows that she is highly ambidextrous, writing, drawing and even throwing balls with either hand, in the case of throwing she can throw two at once on target and with the same power. Gotta get em young.

    I was playing drums at age 12. Like beginning on a snare drum. Meanwhile.... LOL
    But I guess when you have Dennis Chambers as a direct influence and instructor and natural talent, you're bound for greatness. I remember seeing this for the first time years back, and I knew I was about to get my face blown clean off when he steps right out in front of the kit to engage the audience and dedicates this solo to Tony Williams. 😂

      You only get mentored by one of the greats if you have prodigy level skills at a young age. So if you don't have it from the beginning you won't get mentored by any of the greats. So the whole it helps comment I don't agree with. One of the greats saw a future legend already in the making so he simply invested his time. If that kid was just average there would've been no mentoring plan and simple, that's the real realty about it!

    • @normanwilmoth7404
      @normanwilmoth7404 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I do agree on a basic level learning from someone better than you or is more experienced helps practically. Tony was no average young drummer though, so of course he got noticed and mentored by one of the greats!
