Islam didnt originated with Muhammad in the 7th century. Muhammad was the last prophet from God starting from Adam, Noah, Abarham, Moses, Jesus and many in between. Quran was memorized by hundreds from day one of its revelation and it continues to be memorized by millions of Muslim to this date.
Tommy Boman the tradition is still practiced in Muslim community all over the world. There are literally millions of people who has the complete book memorized top to bottom and they keep on working on their memorization round the year throughout their entire life. I have a twelve year old son who just finished memorizing the book this year. He spends at least an hour a day practicing it. These folks are highly respected in the community as well. God is the object of worship. No matter what religion you follow and who ever they call God, is their object of worship. Like give devotion to God, make prayer to God and pay charity in the name of “God”. So had Jesus been God? He would have been told people to worship him. But in fact in Matthew 15:9 he did the exact opposite. “But in vain they do worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men” also another translation “Their worship of me is empty since they teach instructions that are human rules”. So Jesus said don’t worship me in the Bible. In conclusion, there is no God but Allah and prophet Muhammed (pbuh) is his messenger. And Jesus was the messenger of Allah. .

We can prove the preservance of Quran and Hadith from oral tradition. But I would love a Christian to do the same for the bible.

Even as a non Arab I have memorised the holy Quran, there are over 10 million world wide that have memorised the entire Quran and around 80% don’t speak the language.
